No trap needed I am told, just patience, skill and a slip lead. A farmer had spotted Ali in a private wood near Burwell so the search party went there next day and Ninja got her. A big thank you to all the many local residents who helped in the search.
AlisonH
Well done Ninja for trapping Ali you are a star.

Thanks Ninja.

Photos updated to with recent pics of Ali.....

Tetford is 5 miles from Burwell by road but more like 4 across fields. It makes sense as we did follow her trail to Ruckland before she was sighted in Muckton then back in Burwell. If she went up to Ruckland again and continued in that direction she could have ended up in Tetford. She seems to be staking out a big territory.Last edited: 2015-09-23 13:48:01 by Owl

Possible sighting in Tetford early hours of Monday morning....
DogLostOwl
Looks as if she may be using Burwell as her main base then.

Ali was sighted this evening by a farmer at approx. 5.45pm across the fields at Burwell, she was also sighted by the owners at about 7.15pm in roughly the same sort of area but they were a couple of fields away at the time so didn't have chance to get close enough to her to see if she would come to them....

The people at the equestrian centre were already aware and have been out searching on horseback and in cars.
DogLostOwl
I have emailed the New Farm Equestrian Centre at Muckton.

Delighted but not surprised that Ali has been sighted. I thought she would pop up again before long. Hope she will settle in one place.

dots46 yes lots of info out there. I spent 4 hrs driving round the areas mentioned yesterday and spoke to anyone and everyone I saw as well as local shops, farms and visitor centres etc. It was great how many were aware of Ali but sadly no sightings. I gave good descriptions of her and the telephone numbers to contact if seen to everyone who didn't have them as I can't print the posters.
Jenny
Notified my vet and Alford vets and fellow rescuers in Mablethorpe. Off to have a look round the area now. Hope she is found soon!
AlisonH
Dog handed in to vets was a Border Collie.
Jenny
Do we know which vets or can they get to the vets?
dots46
Phone numbers updated with owners number, have spoken with them today and they are struggling to get any info from vets about the dog that has been handed in. Local info and advice sheets passed on.Last edited: 2015-09-10 10:37:09 by dots46

I have now spoken to the owner and noted the sightings. A call was received last night about a dog being handed in to the vets. Owner will call vets when they open this morning.
dots46
Sighting details from facebook- The latest info is her last sighting was Sunday morning at about 7.15 near swaby and ballau. No sightings since. We think she could be heading clock wise ,we hope to Mablethorpe.so 4 days without a sighting. Plus she usually has 2 epiphen a day for mild fits. Posters have been put up in the Trusthorpe area and also I gather in the area lost. I can check if authorities notified.Last edited: 2015-09-10 08:59:07 by dots46

Thank you for helping the owner dots46. Do you know if the authorities have been notified and if posters have been put up in the area. If there have been any sightings can you find out the time and place so that our helpers can follow them up.
