This is such wonderful news! Well done all who helped. Lock keeper sounds a fantastic chap. Yes!!!! Reunited with family jasper was found and captured by the lock keeper at 0400 this morning after he heard howling and whimpering in his garden.

He went out to investigate and saw jasper so set up a bed food and water in his shed. Not long after he found jasper asleep on the bed with a full belly!

The best capture for jasper!

He seems fine, he will be monitored today and will be taken to vet tomorrow to be checked over.

Would appreciate some advice on how to catch a street dog when it is a hunting breed! He is ignoring our efforts so far! Our countryside is probably a luxury for him and at this point we are struggling to think how we will catch him!!

We have set up feeding stations but his breed is a bird hunter I believe!

Ok update: numerous sightings last night and 2 between 0600 and 0800 this morning and then nothing until 14.25 when he walked straight past me on the road at the entrance to the lock tea rooms where he went missing. We then managed to track him on foot with the help of locals for the next 2 and half hours and then he went to ground again.

Good thing is is that he is staying in the immediate area where he went missing. Bad thing is he is not responding in anyway to us (and so far we have been doing all the right things) he just turns his back and trots off. Little tike!!

We start agin at dawn tomorrow at the 3 key points of his triangle. Please Hoin Bella's Angels FB group if you want updates and sighting map.

Good advice Sasha. Hopefully he will go to owner, but if not you may need to work on other ways. We can advise.

Thank you! Please note anyone wanting to search please contact the owner Rachel first. Jasper was a street dog so is nervous so cannot be chased! If you see him please contact Rachel!! He is doing a regular triangle tonight so we do not want to scare him away from the area.
