- 3 dogs found dumped Rotherham area, need to be claimed quickly so if the owner can check photos that would be great. Here is one of the shares... (edit, I can see that Benjy's owner has already seen and making enquiries, good luck)

- I wonder if the dog found below straying in York was dumped at the same time as 3 other dogs picked up on 6/10/19 by the dog wardens in area YO1. Two of those looked very bedraggled.....Last edited: 2019-10-08 17:32:15 by Joan

- there is a dog been found by RSPCA york
looks very similar to your benjy
they say hes a poodle
but he doesnt look
like a pure poodle
silver head and ears
white body
I'm wondering whether this could be your stolen benjy
due to the colouring on face and ears
as the years go
they do change colour

RSPCA is appealing for information after a male black and white toy poodle was handed in to it’s York branch.
The dog had been found straying in the Osbaldwick area of York.
His microchip details are out of date and he has no collar.
RSPCA inspector Thomas Hutton:
“Sadly this poor dog is in a bit of a state, he is very thin with rotten teeth and a potential skin infection.
He may have been missing for a while but we are hoping somebody recognises him as we would really like to find his owner.
It really is so important to keep your pets microchip details up to date, in case they do get injured or lost, especially as it is a legal requirement for dogs.”
If anyone does recognise this dog they can ring the inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018.Last edited: 2019-10-08 17:06:04 by pippoodle - 2018-08-20 13:30 JEAN

- There was a possible sighting of Benjy on 15th September running around an Ecology Park in Billingham and also another sighting in Station Road Billingham
but the lady who made this sighting said the dog was wearing a pink collar .
Benjys owners have been in contact with the dog warden , are checking daily with the holding kennels and have put up posters
Hoping Benjy is found very soon Last edited: 2015-09-20 15:54:59 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire - 2015-09-12 22:50 Gino

- Sorry to see that BENJY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
