can you please confirm where this dog was lost, 2 posters within a few feet of each other, same dog, 2 locations, 1 Sydenham, 1 Selhurst Park, but on here it says Egerton Rd.

Hi all, still no sign yet. I have emailed you tessa. There has been a sighting of Rory on syndenham high street with 2 ladies and a little girl. They went into Barclays Bank with him. Rory's owner has tried to get the CCTV but won't show him they will only show the police, but the police aren't helping him. Is there any other way of getting CCTV?

Please take a screen shot of the gumtree advert if you know where it is- then report post as fake.Contact gumtree direct and explain there is no dog for sale. they should have records of who made the posting ask they remove your details immediately.

Hi, my name is Tessa. Recently someone has advertised a fake post on Gumtree and other websites, announcing that I have found a pomeranian similar to the one in the photo above. They have posted my adress and I have had several people knock on my door enquiring about my dog. Please ignore these posts as I am not selling a pomeranian, nor have I found one. I have had my dog for over a year and have papers to prove this. If anyone could provide any information as to who has been posting these or giving out my address please contact me on 07557262873. There is a poster for a lost Pom in the shop where the owner was, it says golden pom stolen in the Sydenham area SE26. Outside the shop on the other corner there is the same poster saying Rory was lost at Selhurst Park (football ground I assume) Egerton Road is in South Norwood hence the SE25 postcode

Did the owner ask the shops he was parked by to view their CCTV? They should have clear view of thief and which direction they went....x

All London buses have CCTV, if the shops are on a bus route that might be a possibility. Thing is the tapes over-record after 28 days maximum so they need to be seen as soon as possible. The bus company should have records of which buses were in that road at the time Rory went missing.

Chinny pomeranian Reunited ID 90328 was stolen from SE3 which is 6.4 miles from where Rory was stolen from. I believe the thief got on a bus, so who knows? Perhaps speak to Chinnys owner.

No his owner went into the chicken shop first came out saw Rory still in the van, went into the off licence next door for a bottled water, (in there for all of 2 minutes) came out and Rory was gone, he searched the area straight away, and I assume he's putting posters up today as he's had them printed

Are you a 100% sure that he was stolen? Is it possible he could have jumped out of a window or snuck out unnoticed when the door was opened? Please make sure the area around where he was lost is thoroughly searched and postered.

SophieJane. People like this dont have any value on people`s feelings. They just think about number 1 "Themselves" I would imagine that he has been sold on for money, or for his/her own family, so lets keep making Rory "TOO HOT TO HANDLE"

Thanks Debbie but that's not him unfortunately, I will ask if the Croydon warden has been called but I'm sure all local vets, police and wardens have been called, battersea included but no sign yet, hopefully he gets home safe poor little thing probably scared out if his mind! Don't know how people can be so cruel... :(

I have seen Rory on Gumtree. He has a double fang on his lower jaw. Also his owner`s little girl cries for him daily. Let`s keep making Rpry "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" so we can wipe away the little girl`s tears Get found soon Rory, so you can reunited with your RIGHTFUL owners. Paws, and fingers xd.

Rose this is from the posting on our local facebook page "stolen from a van on Egerton road SE25 at approx 12noon on Monday", I have shared on all the local pages, Harvey's Army and the Dog's Today Magazine Pages and have tweeted him too. Let's hope he is home very soon. I have also checked Gumtree and not seen any one that looks like him posted recently.
