- Bottom picture is the much slimmer version of a dog very happy to be home!
Message from Jaxon's family:
"After five weeks missing and no sitings, Jaxon was returned to us last night. We are delighted, relieved, and totally mystified where he has been for five weeks, he's a bit dirty and a little thinner (but not as much as we anticipated) and we can't believe he is home again. He gave us the disdainful look that said" what took you so long!" I did have a heart to heart with him by stating that all actions ( his being wandering off) have a consequence and his unfortunately is to get the snip. We may see no more little Jaxons but hopefully we may kerb his wander lust. He may be on a lead for quite some time!!!!! Despite this we are SO happy that he's home, we thought he'd gone forever.
He is a little thin, but is home and it's as if he's never been away!
Thank you to all your helpers in the quest to find him for us it was very much appreciated."

- There is a dog on the Forest of Dean Dogs Lost & Found that seems to have been dumped in this area. He is now at a local pound. He looks like a Bedlington Terrier x but as you have put that he lloks like a bear/sheep when fur grown and that he could have been taken by travellers (who may have given him a haircut) I thought it would be a good idea if you took a look. If you cant get into the site which is on FB, you could telephone the local co ordinator Helen on 01594 560670. I do hope that you get Jaxon back x

I have requested Twitter
Jaxon could be anywhere by now. - 2015-09-17 16:58 Jasper - Area Volunteer, Somerset
- I would also make a few posters to go up in the exact area where Jaxon disappeared asking for information about the camper van. It sounds like the sort of area where people pass through at regular times so I would hang around there at the time Jaxon went missing, talk to people- spread the word- someone may remember something unusual about the van. Also as Jaxon is a 'special Helper' dog, contact County Gazette and any local radio stations as they may run a story for you.
