Thanks all, he is rally doing ever so well, his leg is healing nicely and his foot is looking fabulous, we are so lucky3 my fab vet has managed to prevent skin grafts. He is coming out of his shell and wagging his tail, we have not got to grips with playing with toys yet but he is play bowing and coming for cuddles. I want to say thanks to Mrs Diane P*₩@# and Bonny as well for their donation.

Thanks Mollychops I already have an offer of rescue space, very kind of you though. It looks like Murphy won't need skin grafts for his foo, he is healing ever so well.

Murphy is doing well, he is still a bit swollen and sore but able to bear weight and has a really good appetite. ☺

I have been to see Murphy this evening, he took a while to come round from the op and was fairly out of it still when was there but he is in good hands. The op went well but there is still lots of work to do on his foot. I will update his photo tomorrow .

This lad has his operation tomorrow, he is going to end up with more nuts and bolts than my car so we have named him Murphy after Robocop. He is going to have a fair bit of skin removed from his foot which is dying. He is going to have one hell of a scar and I imagine will take a lot of healing. I have some rather gory photos, poor lad.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
