- Maggie0191 - any news or sightings of Phoebe? I wonder if someone has taken her in. What about paying a visit to your local post Sorting Office. Ask them to display a couple of missing posters visible to all Posties and customers. Also request some mini-flyers from DogLost's Admin and leave some at the Sorting Office for ALL Posties to carry with them. It is likely that they are the very people who would notice a stray cat on their round or know of someone who has found one and taken it in. Also alter Phoebe's poster to read STILL MISSING to make people doubly aware.

- She will only have a territory of about two garden spaces for her territory. For a neutered tom its four. But when you are searching for Phoebe, please keep safe

- Yes youre right MillysMum. Night time is best, or very early moening. Inquisitive they are. I have two of my own. As I said in my earlier post someone may be feeding her. Keep walking around the area as you are doing, with the treats. On Gumtree yesterday someone was reunited with their cat this way.

- Maggie0191 - I'm so sorry to hear that your beautiful Phoebe is missing. When one of our cats went missing, I checked out some garages belonging to a nearby block of flats at the back of our house/garden. I went round there when it was quiet and took a cat carrying basket with me as our route home was via a reasonably busy road which I knew would have freaked him out. I stopped at each garage, called his name, waited and listened before moving on to the next garage. After checking out a few garages I heard him meowing. Fortunately, when I tried the garage door, it wasn't locked and so popped him in his carrying basket and off home we went! Another of our cats managed to get herself shut in a neighbour's greenhouse. Also (and along the same lines), go out whilst still light and look at the windows of ALL nearby properties (both downstairs and upstairs) just in case Phoebe has sneaked in and is sitting on a window sill. It may be that the residents have gone away for a few days, are on holiday or that the property is for sale or to let. All us cat owners know just how inquisitive cats are and how they can slip in somewhere without anyone noticing. If Phoebe has been frightened by something and is laying low, go into your garden in the early hours when it's dark and nice and quiet. Tap her food bowl, listen and wait and keep repeating this but do stay outside for 15/20 minutes just in case she's building up confidence to break cover and come to you. I do hope it won't be long until Phoebe is back home with you.

- Presume all outbuildings checked? She may be hiding in bushes or behind hedges. As she is spayed, and a indoor cat she wont be too far away. Put some tuna in her dish, and keep calling her; night or early morning is best. Someone else may be feeding her. Put something with her scent on, her blanket say or part of her bedding, and put in a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, inside, and out, and things leading up tol the house such as lamposts etc., Put "Lost" posters through doors too, and ask around Try this too With door wide open, open a TIN of cat food, as then the sound of the opener, and smell of the food may help bring her back There is a site online called Catchat which gives many more tips on how to find your lost cat. Just google Catchat lost cats. PS. Put some catnip near the scented items too. Keep us postedx
