- Other Info When he went missing Giggs was wearing a black collar with a blue bone shaped ID tag with ' GIGGS ' on one side and his owners Norwegian number on the other side . He has only recently moved to the UK and still has a Norwegian microchip which his owner will be altering to UK contact details

- Absolutely delighted to report that GIGGS has been collected by his owner and they are now on a bus on the journey home .
A member of the public found him last Saturday ( the same day he went missing ) about 2 hours after he went missing over 30 miles from home minus his collar and ID tag !! He was scanned by the Hambleton District dog warden but at that point his owner hadn't altered his microchip details with Petlog.
I decided to contact Petlog last night and found he had been scanned by the warden and was able to pass contact between owner and dog warden.
This is a very good example of why it is so very important to always update your dogs microchip details as Giggs could have so easily have never been located
His owner is buying him a new collar and ID tag and will of course now be updating his microchip details
So with great pleasure I can now say welcome home handsome Giggs and please stay safe from now on xx

- We have discovered that Giggs has been picked up by a dog warden in another area . Have notified his owner and given her the phone number to call in the morning !!!

- Giggs and his owner have only been living in the UK for 2 weeks and his microchip is still registered to Norway.
I have advised his owner that they need to get the contact details altered ASAP and have given them the numbers to call to do this and they will also be able to find out if anyone had scanned him since he went missing . Numbers also provided for dog warden and local holding kennels and owner advised to poster

- Thanks Shelagh x I don't know if Giggs could have travelled that far but you never know the circumstances so worth checking out . I will send a photo of Giggs to the lady who sighted the dog this morning x

- Found 92348. Sighted gsd? I've no idea if this dog could cover distance,but noticed his been gone for few days. Maybe owner could ask 'sighter' to have a look at their boy.
