- Respect to the people at Bristol Dogs & Cats Home for orchestrating such an effective campaign whilst getting on with the day to day work. What fantastic news on what has been a bizarre day for me. I returned back to the rescue centre I volunteer at after a walk with a muzzled Staffy, to find police everywhere and the site in lock down. My heart sank. We marched straight through the police so the Staffy didn't have an opportunity to get upset and only when I was inside was I challenged. I caused quite a stir apparently. It was all caused by someone being an arse whilst collecting their stray dog. Just another day in the life of a rescue centre.

"Good Morning all,
Unfortunately we still have no news to report on little Fox.
It is a very worrying time for all of us and we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from you, the public.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts for your shares, your comments, your likes and your own time in trawling through ‘for sale’ sites and other web pages and Facebook pages in the hunt for Fox.
We are doing everything we can this end and we will not give up until we find her.
This was a highly skilled operation most probably carried out by somebody who had been into our kennels, visiting on a previous occasion, they knew she was here and went to great lengths, risking life and limb to break in and get her. Our CCTV footage has been handed to the Avon and Somerset Police who have been fantastic in dealing with this horrible theft.
We would also like to thank the Media for their support in keeping Fox’s story live and in particular BBC Radio Bristol and Made in Bristol for their interviews.
Please continue to share her story far and wide, if she is on everyone’s minds then is offered for sale or seen out and about somebody will recognise her. She is micro-chipped and registered to us at the Dogs and Cats Home so if any other Rescue Centre or Vets receive a dog like her then she will be traced back to us.
We would ask that you please join the ‘Thunderclap’ in the hunt for Fox by following the link below and follow us on Twitter- #findfox
Thank you so much for your support :)

"Our CCTV footage has been passed to the police today, we are keeping positive that we will get Fox back and wish to thank everyone for all their help with sharing and commenting and keeping her in your thoughts. Unfortunately whatever security you have on a premises, these types of people will find a way in and get what they want. In this case it was poor little Fox. A very sad few days for us here but we continue to stay strong for the sake of all the other animals :) Thank you to each and every one of you, we are truly touched by your support :)" - 17:46 Monday 21st September 2015 - 2015-09-21 22:52 digbysmum

"Thank you so so much everyone, your support has been overwhelming and we are truly grateful. We have had a hard day and your comments and shares mean so much to us. We will keep you updated as and when we have any news, we just hope that she will be returned safe and sound. She's a little cutie. As I mentioned earlier the police have been fantastic at dealing with the theft and some forensic evidence has been found and taken. We will keep our fingers crossed that somebody somewhere knows something and that little fox is being well looked after. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts :) " - 19:12 Sunday 20th September 2015Last edited: 2015-09-20 19:55:44 by Administrator - 2015-09-20 19:30 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

"PLEASE, PLEASE HELP- I am saddened to have to report that overnight we have had one of our dogs stolen from the kennels. Little 'Fox' is only five months old. She is neutered and micro-chipped and is now registered as stolen. The police and forensics team have been here all morning and if anyone has any information or is offered a chihuahua cross, female dog for sale, Please contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101, quoting Log 318 of 20th September 2015. Thankfully Fox is neutered so she cannot be used for breeding purposes and she is micro-chipped, but this experience would have been incredibly traumatic for her and also very upsetting for all of us here. Please share this story far and wide, she could be anywhere by now but lets use the power of Facebook to get her back. Thank you in advance for your help. :( " - 10:44 Sunday 20th September 2015
"We know they were only after her as they went to great lengths to get in and get her. It is now in the hands of the police who have gathered all evidence. We will keep you updated but we please ask you to keep sharing her story. She will have been traumatised by her ordeal last night :( " - 11:33 Sunday 20th September 2015
