- My rescue patterdale was in the pound in Bracknell on the Christmas that yours went missing. He wasn't chipped and when cut he looks smooth. The timing and location just made me wonder if I had adopted Billy, so thought if the case, give you some closure. In one way I am pleased my Leon is not your dog, but in another, that you still have no resolve. I am so sorry. You must be heartbroken. I only hope that I have not added to this. Blessings to you and prayers x

- Thanks no he is not docked and his coat is very smooth no curl at all
Thank you
A - 2018-10-19 19:46 Shazwellyn
- Was he docked? Did his hair grow curly? The dog i am thinking of was not chipped and had no tags. He probably wasn't yours, so please don't get your hopes up x looking at the picture, your dog's tail seems be longer, although what sparked my query was the collar. It is hard to know by pictures alone. Last edited: 2018-10-19 20:03:22 by Shazwellyn

- hi Billy has been missing for over three years but at the time of his disappearance no he was not neutered, yes he was chipped. he is black (in summer almost a very dark brown on his head) tiny bit of white stating to appear on his chest, very smooth haired small and slight Patterdale terrier, a very very lovely dog who is much missed. if you have a possible siting please let me know
- 2018-10-19 13:02 Shazwellyn

- Probably a long shot but the following has just been posted on DOGLOST CORNWALL facebook page by Bev Moran, the owner of Chloe who is very poorly after being missing for 13 days:
"While at the vets tonight, seeing Chloe....who I still can't believe has been found.....a black Patterdale type terrier was brought in, he looks about 3-4 yrs old, not neutered, scanned but no evidence of a chip. Dog warden didn't take him as gone 5pm!! He is safe at Penbode in Stratton. He was found at Woolsery I think."
I appreciate the post says no evidence of chip but felt you should know just in case. - 2015-10-02 22:36 Kanny
- Hi Alison, just offering a crumb of comfort here. Sprocket was found after three weeks of being missing on Dartmoor. I had 500 flyers from the printers and with volunteers posted in every village in a 5 mile radius. I aslo flagged down the postmen as they go to remote dwellings, I contacted the farriers as they go to remote yards. I asked that people put my contact details in their devices so that they could contact me immediately. I too got the K9 search dogs out when there was a positive sighting. I know it's very New Age but a lady found him for me by using a pendulum and a map. I'm sorry if this is granny and eggs as I can see from your posts that you're doing everything you can to find Billy but you may not have thought of the farriers, that took me 10 days or so to think of asking them. xx
- 2015-10-02 15:24 Alison
- Longhilll near Duntinsbourne but we've been looking there and he is not anywhere close by
- 2015-10-02 09:39 Goldenfarm
- Alison, where is the stables where the other dog was found? Chances are they went together. He might be still nearby somewhere.
- 2015-10-01 09:56 Alison

- 2015-09-29 21:50 Kanny
- I'll e-mail the photo to the admin address as I can't attach it here. I did see that Billy was smooth coated but this lad looks like he's been through the mill and so the smooth coat could be roughed up a bit.
- 2015-09-29 19:43 Alison
- Kanny can you send the photo? Billy is smooth haired though
- 2015-09-28 23:13 Jot cotswolds
- Where was the location "5 miles away where the owner keeps her horses" where the other dog was found..any chance of saying where that is?! In which direction from Cirencester? An idea of likely direction would help focus people a bit.
- 2015-09-28 22:29 Kanny

- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (92336)

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
