I have thought for some time it could well be missing Solomon

I've contacted our Suffolk co-ord in case from higher up the country, as this is on the major route from there to the south. Yes, it is theft by finding. Without knowing where this chap lives there's not much we can do, however, if we have a name and some more details or a tel no, we might be able to find out more. If dog not reported as missing, either owner doesn't know where to do that or simply doesn't want the dog (sadly that does happen so they just don't look). Or, the dog could have been taken from another part of the country. It would mean contacting all DWs in a number of counties. If only every single lost dog could get registered on here by owners. If you find out out any details, please let us know. We can tread carefully and see if we can get to the bottom of it.

I agree he has rehomed this dog.
It was not his to rehome.
No one has put a Black GSD lost in this area strange

Can,t posters be put around the area where found, saying WHERE IS THIS DOG? If anyone knows please contact and then a number. Surely, someone somewhere must know where this dog is. X
Rose
It could be a police matter but is that person going to admit to having re-homed this dog!! x
BigGSDPatlucky
The man was not rude but did threaten the helper with a call to the police.
I think he should have as he would be the one in trouble.
This is not a nice situation as was trying to find out if it was Solomom.
PS I did wonder if he even found this dog.
As it looks well at home laying there.
Just a thought.

Is this theft by finding if so surely it is a police matter ?

OMG this is an awful situation. Perhaps the finder thought they were doing the dog a favour save it going in a pound or shelter? I think there are a lot of people who do not understand the law on finding dogs. I didnt know myself until I joined this site so have learnt quite a lot. Brilliant people on here doing a great job x

Hi Angel Sasha
I have been texting you for a couple of days as you know.
I did not want to put up all details as didn't want you in any more bother.
I phoned Chelmsford dog warden I found them less than helpful.
So I got my friend to phone as she is the lady who lost Solomon.
I am sorry to say she also found them not helpful.
Just saying they had not had a dog that matched .
So some poor person has lost a dog and someone has rehomed it.
I would be devastated if it was my dog.
Thank you Angel Sasha for any information you can get.

Hey all. I added the poster on behalf on finder so it's my number on the poster. Unfortunately despite asking finder never gave me his number.

I am with Bellas Angels and we were asked to help find an owner via a third party.

We tried our best including stating that finder needed to contact dog warden (which he said he did and no chip) and taking to kennels as was against the law to rehome a found dog. He told me he had rehomed it and we weren't needed anymore. He was not rude about it just said he couldn't look after it.

Some of our angels also expressed their concerns to finder which lead us to be blocked on FB and being told we had been reported to police for harassment.

I am trying to find out details about where this dog now resides and about distinguishing marks

Sarah, there is a message on the doglost post that they are trying to find out if this dog found has a black mark on his tongue as they could have a possible match, is it possible someone could verify for them?x
BigGSDPatlucky

Hi patlucky I registered dog on behalf of the finder and that's my number. I'm from Bella's Angels. I've asked finder whether any marks on tongue he's going to have a look but he's at work at moment.

Has he been checked for a m/chip?
BigGSDPatlucky
As with all GSDs here have placed it on BIGGSDs.
I have also sent copy to a friend who Lost Solomon over a year ago.
I would be interested if this dog has a Black spot on the tongue .
I tried the number above and they said they did not know.
Is there anyway of finding out please?
