- Fantastic news! Glad to read these two babes seem to be ok after such an ordeal, I hope the police are going to keep up the search for the scum before they get the idea of trying the same thing again somewhere else! Hopefully all the other dogs that were taken will be found safe and well too.

- Really pleased to hear these two have been found. BBC1 are doing a slot on dog theft on Friday at 11.45am on a programme called 'Thief Trackers'. Apparently they are considering making a regular series on pet theft so the more people who watch on Friday the better.

WE HAVE FOUND OUR BABIES AND WILL BE HOME WHERE THEY BELONG VERY SHORTLY!!!!!! They were dumped and handed in by a member of the public. Found in notts. We have never been so happy!!!! We will never be able to thank the people who helped us enough. The amount of media scared the pondlife who took our babies which just shows how powerful the public can be! Xxx
Lylas ear is fine they are both well just really hungry and dirty they've been walking the streets of notts all night. They will be taken to the vets as soon as they are all full up xxxx

We now have a witness who saw several dogs being loaded into a vehicle in cages on Saturday. I don't want to give too much away but the location and descriptions as well as time fit perfectly. The police are now going to obtain cctv from nearby businesses. We have also obtained further information which we don't want to prejudice by leaking yet but we are getting there and tracks have been left. Thank you so much to the witness and others who have helped. Please keep sharing

- The radio bulletins are hourly and we have the breakfast show tomorrow. My Facebook and twitter is being used for sharing. Also BBC news twitter and posters are up. Police did dust for prints. They think they might be glove prints but we haven't heard back yet. Police have raided local traveller site apparently. I had a couple of friend requests from 2 males who know each other from skeg but I do not know them. No one from the people I know in skegness know who they are so not sure how they found me on Facebook or why they friend requested. We have put posters out with REWARD offer. Police have the names of the boys who requested me as they are the right age and seem to be unsavoury characters.

- If they had been searching the caravan perhaps the police can get fingerprints unless they were very careful wearing gloves x

- We have just found out that males matching their description have been snatching dogs this weekend in chapel in skegness. They are driving a grey rover reg plate 54 and sometimes have a female with them. They must be local. They are grabbing dogs in the street and in broad daylight. They seem very desperate they stole loose change from the caravan and used our binbags as they didn't bring their own. They failed to find the valuables and searched around our cupboards for biscuits to get our dogs. Seems they had a struggle and one of our dogs hid under a bed where they couldn't get her out.
- 2015-10-04 12:43 LindaT
- OMG that is awful, poor dogs must be terrified and I really hope the police have been called in as this sounds pre-meditated.
- 2015-10-04 10:48 LYLA and berthas family
- I'm Charlotte the daughter of the dogs owners.
They were stolen from silver beech caravan site in ingoldmells between 11.15pm Friday night and 12.30am. Our dogs were dragged through a window and bagged up from what we can work out. They were taken by two males in their 20s one fair wearing shorts one tall wearing dark clothes. Dogs stay here every weekend. We are trying to call all rescue centres in case lylas been dumped as she's too old to sell or breed. Thanks everyone for sharing - 2015-10-04 10:25 AlisonH

- Are there any details on the circumstances as to how they were stolen,is this a residential as well as a holiday park? If they are on holiday these dogs will be very confused if they dumped.Posted on Lincolnshire Essex and Trent Boxer Rescue members forum. I hope these two dogs are found very quickly.Last edited: 2015-10-04 07:49:35 by LindaT
