- So relieved to see Purdy reunited as she was far too close to the railway station and so many have been lost lately on the tracks. Stay safe now Purdy.

- Apparently Purdy has been reunited.

- There is a bit of confusion as to whether there is one lost dog or 2. The one yesteday seemed to be a male and someone said it was called Bertie. Purdy appears to have only gone missing today.

- Thanks demonweb, Springermad and TK.
Report on Bexhill Dog Lovers Fbk page last night: " HAS ANYONE LOST A GERMAN SHORT-HAIRED POINTER?
If so, he was seen on the beach behind M&S. He appeared to be 'looking for a human' although I couldn't get close enough to see his collar (he was wearing two). He was last seen sprinting up the beach towards St Leonards. Hope this is useful to someone" Hopefully it was the Bertie they were talking about and he is safe home now. Could this have been Purdy? I will try and check with owner as to whether Purdy went missing today or yesterday.
I have just checked the Dog Warden site and it says GP reunited .. female TN35 so am hoping that this is Purdy.
Update: Have just contacted Purdy and it was her with the Dog Wardens. Her owners say that she has just been returned by them and says thanks and so appreciative to all who helped them this morning.
Well done everyone and thanks! Last edited: 2015-10-09 13:43:54 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-10-09 12:57 TK - Area Volunteer, East Sussex
- Email received in TN37, If one was found earlier in Cornwallis Gdns, sounds like it will be her as right by Station...
Have checked animal warden page, Purdy not listed on there yet, hopefully owner will inform dog warden..
hope some good news soon...

- found the post on hastings dog lovers. The one seen yesterday was apparently a male named Bertie. Not sure if he has been reunited though. This must be a different one to Purdy then, as she seems to have been missing from today only and female.

- I'm sure I saw a facebook post yesterday, but that was someone who had sighted but not caught on the beach behind marks and spencers. Will try to find it. May not be the same dog but it was reported wearing 2 collars. Will share on fb
