Anyone driving down the A2070 early.. Please be careful, there is a black dog, I believe to be a Labrador or something of a similar size (it was very dark) last seen 2.30am between snave and ivychurch junctions.. Do not ignore this dog, it's very scared and looks very thirsty! I did stop for about 30 minutes to try and get it but it disappeared into the bushes every time I stopped.. No response when I called for it! Share to help find his owners - 2015-10-18 10:15 Dwelshyy

- spoken with owner who is doing all the right things. Everyone has been notified and posters are up as it needs sighting to know which direction he is travelling in. They are already scenting and will be sending plotting advice so that if they form the tested triangle theory then it gives a more exact area to search. With possible rain forecast have advised will need to re scent after each rain shower.

- Rose, we back on to open woodlands which he never wanders in to on this evening he chose to walk off and ignore us. It was pitch black and so is he so we couldn't see him and he hasnt returned.
- 2015-10-14 10:04 Dwelshyy
- Thank you Nina that is something that is totally new to me! But I am willing to try anything.
- 2015-10-13 16:45 Rose
- How did he get out of your garden? x
- 2015-10-12 17:31 Nina
- Dwelshyy perhaps I can help. In basic terms in means collecting your pee and in some kind of sprinkler you leave a trail from your back or front door on which ever route you choose. You can also do this by cutting into small pieces old clothing as long as it has got your scecnt on it. Hope this all makes sense. Good luck

- Sorry to see that JAMIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (93042)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
