- Thanks to rusty50 and Gina, but I'm afraid it's not Kaiser. Remarkable similarity, but unfortunately the microchip details don't match.
God Bless you wonderful people for being so vigilant.
One day we will be reunited. - 2017-01-23 16:28 rusty50

- I have had a message from Chris tonight, there have been 2 more sightings reported by 2 people who know Kaiser. One sighting at Chapelhay near the back of the church with an elderly couple and the other again with an elderly gent at Wyle Regis. Reward added to the poster for any information leading to his safe return.

- I cycle daily along the Rodwell Trail & do several journey at night. Could you please tell me which bridge it is? Buxton Road, Wyke Road or the new bridge. I've got a powerful bike light so will definitely look out for him. Can you please let me know? Have you thought of contacting the Council or Fire Brigade to ask for help at the storm drain?
- 2015-11-11 21:22 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Chris had a call last week from someone who had heard what she thought was a dog in a storm drain along the Roswell Trail in the same area as original sighting near the bridge. It is possible that Kaiser has found a cosy den and a source of food ( maybe from bins?) and only comes out at might when all is quiet so please can people carry on looking out for him.

- I understood it to be the village side, thank you Janefuhrmann. We know there are a few border terriers in the area so if this was a local one similar to Kaiser it would be good to be able to rule it out. If anyone knows of an elderly gent who owns one please let the owner of Kaiser know.

- Have printed posters to be placed in Wyke Regis village stores window and Wyke postoffice
- 2015-10-23 23:21 janefuhrmann

- What a shame that no one helped Kaiser when he approached them.
I do hope the little fella is found soon x - 2015-10-23 18:43 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Bumping Kaiser's page due to a possible sighting of him being walked by an elderly man near All Saints Church in Wyle Regis. The person who reported the sighting knows Kaiser and recognised his unusual gait due to his ataxia but was driving at the time so could not stop. She turned and drove back but he had disappeared. Please call the owner on the poster number ASAP if seen again.

- The little dog found at St Ives looks very much like Kaiser!
Sadly, no further progress. Unfortunately, some of the posters on Rodwell Trail have been removed and destroyed.
An incredible response from people in Weymouth and heartfelt thanks.

- Sadly the dog found in St. Ives is not Kaiser and has been reunited. Don't give up, he's out there somewhere.

- Bumping Kaiser's page due to a sighting on Saturday which has only been reported today. He was seen on the Rodwell Trail, I will try to find more details re exact location etc. He was seen approaching walkers on the trail so may well have been picked up and not reported.
- 2015-10-15 17:56 Chris
- A lady called today after seeing the posters at Nothe Gardens. She saw Kaiser on Saturday on Rodwell Trial. He appeared lost and was approaching people. He is very friendly and outgoing and not at all shy with people and other dogs. He appears to be older than he is because of his condition but is not yet six. Hopefully someone has picked him up and not yet taken him in. Please, if anyone has, do not hesitate to contact the dog warden, local vet, council or any other authority.

- Not sure that there is any organised search planned, owner spent several hours searching yesterday along with an RSPCA inspector as there were fears that there are badger sets in the area but none of these appear to be active. He may have been picked up over the weekend and not yet reported.

- Still no sign yet of Kaiser, owner going back to look again this evening. He does know the area quite well and would be able to find his way back to where he is staying but is not very mobile due to his condition. Owner is going to listen at the most likely rabbit burrows with pipe and funnel, also contacting wild life organisations for advice regarding badger sets. General advice sent, I hope there will be good news soon.
