There is a beagle look a like in Leigh cats and dogs home ?38416 who looks similar to Bernie. I don't think it is identical but after a year who knows? We had a Border Collie who's microchip migrated so even if they have checked for a chip doesn't mean he doesn't have one - I have no idea whether they scan her or not. I know they should.

A man has just heard what he describes as a Beagle baying near Otter tunnel and the trim trail...he says its coming from the other side of the tracks..have his number for a better decription of area if anyone is around please call hq.

The last two sightings are where we want them to be and not far from home and where he ran from. Please, please can I stress the importance of not searching through bushes calling his name, which is what I gather is being done - this will spook him and he will run and he is so close to the railway tracks. We believe he may have a slight injury but otherwise looking good.
If you see Bernie - please call the owners on the number above, they are closeby. Do not try and catch - he thinks that is a game. The railway is too close for games.

Great there have been SIGHTINGS. Just a matter of time before his owner gets that most important call and gets to the area and sees him.

He was spotted by a lady today about 11am down Dibbinsdale Woods on the steps and when she shouted his name he darted in the Otterspool Tunnel towards Bromborough x

THANKS skyninchar for cross checking on the AW site. There is MISSING on the AW site which looks like a match for the one you have posted, called ROCCO REF 370054, same date, colour and L25 which is not too from from L19 does not say REUNITED but AW's do not always update when they are. :(

Unfortunately I don't have a description. The road the dog was running along is 4 lanes wide on either side and I was travelling in the opposite direction to the dog. I turned around and came back at the next junction but by that time the dog had gone.

hcfox88 can you kindly contact the owner of Bernie on the number above and give a description of the beagle you saw yesterday. Yes it is a fair way away but not impossible. By road it is about 46 miles away and by foot about 38 miles. Just so we can follow up on this or eliminate.

Hi, this is pretty far from where this dog has gone missing, but ten past 6 last night, I saw a beagle running along Chester Road heading from Sale to Stretford in Manchester. It was on the opposite side to TGI's and it ran across the road where you can join the motorway to head towards Stockport. I turned around and went back to try and find it but because it was rush hour by the time it took too long and it had gone.

Shared on BeaglesUk and will share on Team Beagle Lost & Found. There is another male beagle that has been found that has been shared on FB but the markings are slightly different but worth checking as very difficult to see from the photos.
