- Such sad news from Lucy. I'm so sorry to hear that it was not a happy ending.
You did everything you could to find your lad as soon as he went missing but it just wasn't to be.

- There isn't a poster in Beryls, (post office) she is the hub of all things in Berwick, maybe a good idea to pop one in?
- 2015-10-23 08:41 Lucy
- Thank you. There is a large field between us and the solar farm.
- 2015-10-22 17:19 LynS
- I will walk mine that way tomorrow, possibly around the solar farm area.
- 2015-10-22 10:05 Lucy
- Hi Eavis is still missing. Posters were given to the Berwick inn, Berwick stores, the garage, dicker stores and the plough. Posters were put out along the footpath near to the property and outside on lamp posts. We have a very odd neighbour who I think has removed them.
- 2015-10-22 07:38 LynS
- Are there any updates? My uncle, a local, hasn't seen any missing posters, and there wasn't one (not that we could find) in the Berwick Inn yesterday. I am still happy to help but need owner inputs and updates, and an indication of areas you'd like us to walk.

- Does anyone know which kennels this bulldog would have been taken to?
- 2015-10-16 13:10 Lucy
- It's Lucy eavis's owner please please contact me adapt! I've called you and will keep trying.
- 2015-10-16 13:03 Pointerlady
- It would be a strange coincidence if it isn't Eavis as there are not many of his breed around these parts. I hope the owner has been informed or seen this post.

- Could Jenny and tiga help?
- 2015-10-15 21:24 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks for the update Lucy. Having spoken to you yesterday I know that you have also done an extensive search of the grounds in the Manor even continuing into the night.
Good to hear that posters are up and locals aware. If you think that Eavis may have been taken please make him too hot to handle .. there can never be enough posters as these are how information will be passed to you.
If anyone in the area is able to put a poster in their car window or outside their house it would really help.
If you would like any other advice please call me. You are doing everything right to find Eavis and I hope you are successful.
Best of luck with your search. - 2015-10-15 20:15 Lucy
- Posters have gone up in the area and also along the public footpath that it next to the property. Posters given to local pubs, shops, garages. Local farmers have also been informed. Police and dog warden are aware.

- I have spoken to Eavis mum and she says that Eavis has gone missing in the grounds of Claverham Manor, Wick St. This was at 1pm today and he was with his owner who works there. She has searched all around and has found no sign of him.
There is a moat and this was the first place that his mum looked. However, he was taught to swim at an early age and has always been able to swim to the side and get out of it. The banks do have reeds etc so I have said to double check that he is not stuck in any of them or down a rabbit hole.
The property is very large so he has a lot of places that he could have gone off to although he tends to stay close to his owner .. he loves the quadbikes etc that are used and would normally come to them as he knows their sound but he has not done so whilst owner has been out searching with them.
The Manor has stock fencing all around it so it is unlikely that he has gone out of the grounds, although it is possible he could have found a hole somewhere so we must not rule that out.
Have advised to leave bedding/scent articles in crate for Eavis to come back to so he has something familiar to settle in.
I have given some advice and also sent our Doglost advice emails to Eavis' mum.
Shared to Doglost East Sussex and my pages as well as to Brighton Dogwatch.
Really hope that Eavis is found very soon. - 2015-10-14 16:55 Gino
