Unbearable how she must have suffered, the tooth abscess alone must have been agony. These people never get what they deserve for treating their pets so inhumanely so just hope good old karma deals with them!

how sad and how disgusting some humans can be who so cruelly neglect their animals.


with your appeal for information perhaps get mssgs out on facebook twitter etc for anyone who bought a bull terrier puppy in the last couple of years and just see if they have any record of seller. I am guessing, may be wrongly, as this poor dog was past her usefulness as a breeding bitch she was abandoned. proving anything is so difficult though.

Have just read the newspaper article about the condition that Violet was in when she was found and repeat what I said before there can be no excuse for neglect. I only hope she felt that someone did care for her and love her towards the end. Rest in peace beautiful Violet xxx

Hope her so called owner is caught, and prosecuted with a life ban on keeping any animals. Personally I would lock them up, and throw the key away

Just to let you all know that Violet as we called her was taken into the care of 365 rescue today and into foster, her fosterer took her to the vets for a check up, it was found that she had multiple tumours on her mammary glands, an eye infection for so long that she was blind,tumours on her gums due to poor dental care and because of the state of her mouth had been unable to eat, in the vets opinion she was too poorly to treat and on the vets advise she went to the rainbow bridge this afternoon, free from pain, RIP Violet. Thanks for all your help in trying to get this poor baby home xx

A temporary foster was wanted in case the warden would release her into the local area, but she has had pain relief from the vets and the warden has found a quiet place for her in the kennels. She will be going into foster under the care of 365 bullie rescue as soon as allowed x

Well done fionap58 in enquiring about this poor dog. Just wish doglost had more people with the time to ask about the status of found and lost dogs we might all be pleasantly surprised.

I've been worrying about this dog so phoned the animal warden just now and the dog is still in council kennels and getting the best possible care and vet treatment. His 8 days will be up on thursday/friday and he has a guaranteed rescue place. The warden, who was very nice, said they don't place in foster while the 8 days is still running because technically the dog still belongs to someone so don't know what that facebook post was about.
