Welcome home Kolina. Stay safe xxxx
Di
Happy that the little girlie got back home where she belonged. I just saw the program and it was lovely to see the re-union (think my screen went a bit blurry at the end). Well done DogLost - you so rock !!!!

glenda
wow, thats such a happy ending, and an inspiration to all to keep looking!
Doglost is invaluable, and lots of people seem aware of the site

Interesting, Di, it was definitely implied that the RSPCA found the dog on Doglost (though they didn't name Doglost) and traced owners. Artistic licence then. At least the RSPCA officer showed the Doglost page to camera and said it was the first website she ever looks at for information and she uses it all the time. Mean of Channel 5 not to let her name it though.

Fantastic news and well done to Di for making the match xxx
Jane
Di - brilliant! Well done, the owners must be beside themselves with happiness.
No less than excellent...x
Di
Not seen the TV yet, but I can assure you that it was a DogLost volunteer (me) that made the match ... ha-ha ... I think if it's on TV that an RSPCA officer is checking DogLost, that must be a little "TV drama" - I called Kamilla & it was the first she'd heard.

Well done Di. Relieved to know that this little one is home. Thank you.

OMG just been watching Dog Rescuers aired last night (recorded on series link) and there was coverage on a FOUND Pom which had been abandoned and it was KOLINA. :)

The RSPCA Inspector could be seen on TV checking DogLost and KOLINA's page was shown.

WAY to go for owner registering her on DogLost and the RSPCA Inspector for checking the site.

Sorry Di to see your post had been overlooked. THANKS a MILLION for cross checking and contacting owners. DogLost have so many dogs it is hard to keep up with all pages and helpful when alerts are emailed into admin.

Have great pleasure in finally moving gorgeous KOLINA into the BLUE.

WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who helped in getting her home.
Di
Just for completeness and in case people think Kolina is still missing .... I saw her as a Found dog on PetsLocated (abandoned in Luton in March). I contacted Kolina's owner & it was a match. She is happily HOME x (It was a re-unite on the old "new" DogLost site, but this hasn't reflected on this page)Last edited: 2016-04-30 12:49:28 by Di

Kolina escaped from her home in Carrington Rd Slough on the 13th . Owners have contacted some Dog Wardens and have been asking door to door for people to check their gardens etc. I will email advice sheets now, and a list of other dog wardens , as the chip details on this little girl are not up to date. Ive suggested the area is postered like mad as she may have been taken in and therefore must be made too hot to handle !!
