- I gently stroked Shadow and wished the poor love goodbye. It was the first time I had found myself in this situation and didn't think to check gender or take a photo but I can contact the vet who arranged to collect Shadow if that would help and see if I can get any details x

- I moved the cat from the road to grass verge, on advice of dog lost I contacted local vet Medivet on Scotchbarn Lane, they have kindly arranged for a volunteer from Harvey's Army to collect the cat and take to Medivet for scanning. I do hope the owner is found and I am sorry I could not have done more.
