- Sandrine - if you search Preloved for "duck tolling" you will see the advert mentioned below. It is apparently a 10mth female Toller X but worth a look.

- Just seen a dogs trust advert on preloved stating they have a duck tolling retriever in their London branch. Maybe worth a call, doesn't say which branch but sure they could tel, you. Fingers crossed.

- Got through to kennels, thought it was worth a try ringing and they picked up - they don't have her or any dog resembling her :( they do routinely scan for microchips so if she was to go there she would be identified straightaway x
- 2015-11-03 17:38 Adrian Baughan
- I have called the Kennel and it's closed so sent an e-mail of this dog lost page just asking for confirmation whether they have a similar dog. The kennel will microchip any dog before re homing anyway so it seems highly unlikely that Rio will be there - but just in case I am checking.
- 2015-11-03 17:19 Adrian Baughan
- Sally123, Can you tell me where you have seen this news about a similar dog taken to Milton Keynes? Can you post a link etc so it can be checked. If there is a pic I can identify a Toller easily enough? Did you visit this kennel? I see that the Kennels is for re homing so they would have to be pretty useless at dog wardens and Kennel, not to scan Rio's microchip, but it's not inconceivable unfortunately.Last edited: 2015-11-03 17:24:36 by Adrian Baughan

- i can't swear by it, but am sure I saw a very similar dog that had been found in Northants and taken to Forest Lodge Kennels in Milton Keynes. Would be worth checking this out.

- Good morning, I thought you were referring to a cctv in the commons. Thanks for all your advice, I have already done everything you suggested and have not given up! We really appreciate everybody's help and concern.
- 2015-10-28 22:03 Lenka
- Hello, I was refering to CCTV from shops and businesses in the area as you mentioned on Rio's facebook page. As she has run off after something she will most likely return to the same spot where she last saw you even weeks later. It is worth putting down your piece of clothing to leave your scent at/near the spot where you lost her. The dogs were found waiting by the piece of their owner's clothing for the return of their owner. Also returning to the spot and calling her as often as possible would be a good idea. Putting up posters around the lake especially would also be worth considering so she sticks in people's minds and they recognize her. Do not give up!
- 2015-10-26 18:08 Sandrine
- Hello
May I ask which CCTV Are you referring to? No one was talking to me at the time, she chased something and then disappeared. Many thanks for your message. Sandrine - 2015-10-23 21:33 Lenka
- Dear Sandrine, have you had any response from CCTV? Were you talking to someone when she has gone missing? There have been cases of people distracting owners while someone leads the dog away. Also advetising REWARD might be worth considering if she was taken by someone to prompt them to return her. I had my dogs missing at Wimbledon Common myself so share your pain and despair. I got them back thanks to DogLost and kind people who go out of their way to help out at times like these. It seems hard to believe she would not be spotted by someone by now! She is a beautiful dog and I hope from the bottom of my heart she is found soon. Last edited: 2015-10-23 21:53:34 by Lenka

- Just a thought, when checking found websites, check collie cross, cross breeds and the like. Not everyone will be aware of tollers and she may have been logged incorrectly. Hope there's some good news soon x

- The facebook page URL is https://www.facebook.com/NSDTRRio The name of the page is missing Toller Rio. Please like and share the page (so all information goes with it including the doglost link) like crazy including to doggy group pages especially if they have reasonable numbers.

- Yes thank you for the suggestion re face book, Rio's breeder has just set it up. Thank you also to the Toller Club. It is very comforting to have so many of you on the look out for Rio. we are all very grateful.

- 2015-10-21 11:09 Adrian Baughan
- Have you thought about starting a specific facebook page, perhaps with her breeder, so that sharing can get widespread very quickly (in case Rio is no longer local). We did this for a previous missing Toller Harvey. Also an adult pic rather than a puppy pic would be better if you have one. So sorry for you :(Last edited: 2015-10-21 12:47:38 by Adrian Baughan

- I am on the committee of the Toller Club of Great Britain. I have already posted on our forum and we have shared on Facebook throughout the Toller community. Is there anything else we can do?
- 2015-10-21 00:02 Sandrine
- Dear all there are sadly no news apart from her being spotted on Frlday night close to Canizaro Park. We are so grateful for everybody's help and all your encouraging words and thoughts, you are all so kind. Thank you. We have contacted all the wardens as well as many organisations, etc and an ad will be placed in local newspapers this week.

- I walk at the common everyday and today I put up 15 posters of Rio. Praying for her safe return xx

- Our understanding is Queensmere.
- 2015-10-17 21:23 BlackLab
- Do we know which pond? There are several on the Common - the most well known are probably Kingsmere (next to the A3, north of the Windmill), Queensmere (immediately below the Windmill) or Rushmere (on the open area closest to Wimbledon Village) - could make a big difference to which way she has headed depending on where she was. There are underpasses under the A3 near Kingsmere for example, so could have headed over to Putney Heath around the Telegraph pub, or even possibly into Richmond Park.
