- So pleased Cooper is home. Get well soon Cooper. Am sending you absent healing for your nasty wound. Cant believe that some low life piece of scum could do this to a defenceless animal. They say people like this will get their comeuppance. I wish it was today. Sending Cooper loads of ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))Last edited: 2015-11-07 21:16:25

- Cooper has had his op, the vet thought the wound was deliberately done. They are looking for donations for his vet treatment as it cost £400 and was urgent so couldn't wait for money to be raised, HA helped with the cost. His FB page is public so anyone can see posts...the wound looked horrible.

- CROSS POSTED from 'Cooper-is-Home-and-Healing.' fb page
Hi , I've been trying to find this page since Wednesday night . It was my husband Gary Gaz Doughty who found cooper on the estate where he works, he's been worried about cooper due to the cut he had on him. They tried to get him into their stores to keep him dry and warm but cooper wouldn't go to them , after reading some of the posts it now makes sense as to why he was soo scared. At one point they thought he could be female and have pups somewhere, thinking that must be the reason cooper wasn't leaving , so Gary and the lads he works with where searching the estate looking for pups ! Wednesday night they went out and bought a bed and lots of food and toys they were even contemplating buying a kennel to keep him warm and dry, just a shame they didn't find him sooner.
We are all so glad he his home with his family, I was just wondering if anyone had any update as to how he is doing ? I've read he needs an operation ?
Hope all is well and give cooper a big hug from us all now he is safe xx - 2015-11-05 23:27 Shelagh
- It seems coopers injury requires an urgent operation? Anybody know about it. I was tagged into Facebook post but I am not a member so can't find out more

- Only just logged and not caught with events. Was very hectic last night with other missing dogs and the news of COOPER.
GAZ who spotted him on the Industrial Estate and kept him safe away from traffic by containing him the area did a FANTASTIC job. He did great tweeting the sighting which finally led to COOPER being REUNITED with his very happy family.
There has been so many people involved in the search for COOPER since he went missing and have worked so hard, which has finally paid off.
Will UPDATE as soon as caught up with things.
This period of year is the busiest time for everyone involved in helping reunited pets with their owners. Fingers crossed there are not too many missing and if they are reunited very soon.

It isn't mine. As I type, my little hound is trying to eat my hair brush! I have just seen this one floating around Stanley Park but, because other people were around and engaging with him, I always assumed he was there on a regular walk. - 2015-10-21 00:59 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
