from FB SAVANNAH IS HOME

We were texted an address not far from our home last night, this person was adamant it was Savannah, we've been up to the house today and spotted her and police came and collected her and her 2 pups which she has had, she's fine but very nervous and shaken, her fur has all came off and she has an ear infection but nothing a little tlc can't cure, I'm so so grateful for everyone's help and I honestly could not have gotten her back without all the help I have received, Thankyou so much everyone

Not sure if it's the same one but there's a very similar one in Leigh Cats & Dogs home, ref Bolton 371184. Doesn't give the sex on the post I saw.

Why not visit the scrap yards around....they may be known to the owners and give you their details....definitely a line of enquiry police can follow up as this is a crime (assuming you have a CRN ) ....will do some tweeting xx

I have clarified with her owners that it is Birtley, Gateshead that Savannah has been stolen from .
No CCTV footage but a witness saw the men run down the road and throw her into their van . They also have the number plate for the vehicle and this has been handed to the police .
Have asked the owner to question the witness for as much description of the men and van as possible .

Are there any cctv cameras in the area that may show the van..Was is a plain transit or one with the open cage backs?..This needs to be put in local newspaper and on local news programme incase someone sees the van again..Hoping Savannah is found soon..xx

Bumping Savannahs page as now confirmed she was STOLEN . The police have interviewed the witness who saw the men with the scrap van stealing Savannah from her garden and have issued a crime reference number.

Savannahs owner has contacted all relevant authorities.
A lady reported a possible sighting of Savannah being taken from her garden and put in a scrap van but there were also possible sightings of her near the Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy in Birtley DH3 which is near to where her owners used to live. Her owner is trying to follow up on these sightings
Hoping for news of Savannah very soon
