Ladys mum here - I have spoken with CID today and still no news, unfortunately they have a couple of things they are following up - but no developments at present apart from the car they were in - the addresses are no longer relevant, as they appear to have gone off the radar! Yasa has been very busy contacting people in and around the areas. She has also made a useful contact on the Isle of Sheppey with a multi-agency group called Dogwatch. Whilst I have been in contact with the owner, I am having difficulty contact the police officer dealing with the case. I am going to ask Keelah to deal with the media on this one.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have discovered there are street wardens that patrol areas of London. They work very closely with the police, and I'm sure would look out for Lady. Perhaps owner would care to telephone them. There may be other areas that are covered besides the ones I have here so presumably they would have that information also. Waltham Forest District (Walthamstow)- 020 8496 1012, Leyton- 020 8988 1630 and Leytonstone 020 8558 6419. It wouldn't hurt to contact them even if not quite the right area as Lady may have been taken further. Also, owner may like to contact Neighbourhood Watch. Hope this helps get Lady back. I m so terribly sorry that Lady has been stolen. If it is OK by Lady's owners I will start sending posters out by Email. Please advise if I should include shelters and rescue centres or are these being postered and visited by the owners.? If I need to do the centres, if anyone has a list of those in any of the areas mentioned it would be a help. Come home soon Lady. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

To be honest, it's difficult to say where the search should start. It has been suggested that the people concerned have connections in Walthamstow and Sheppey. Certainly, the focus needs to be on Chingford as this is where the theft occurred. The people are known to the police and they are investigating.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jayne can you pm me any more info on the Isle of Sheppey link? I'm presuming that there is a link to holiday makers from the East end, but would be interested to know which town on the Island. I'm there more frequently than I care to mention at the moment.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
