Was Sox ever found? Is there a photo? I was unfortunately witness to a road accident last night (4th September) in which a lurcher bitch was killed. It happened on Wyresdale Road in Lancaster (near Quernmore). After speaking to dog wardens and stray kennels apparently the bitch had been seen wandering for the past few days.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as admin receive a picture posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie (go to sorting office), milkmen, binmen, schools, youth clubs, pubs, mcdonalds, dog training clubs and deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. Check Police stations and Dog Warden. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Sox.
