So happy for Griff's owners and all the lovely search party who have been getting so wet whilst out there.
I was told that Griff had been found by owner's son when travelling back from Polegate. So relieved that Griff will not have to be out with all the noise of fireworks tonight.
Massive thanks to the search team.

Searchers have been out all afternoon but unfortunately have had no more sightings of Griff.

If anyone is able to help with putting posters up it would be a great help.
This is the best way to get more sightings of Griff.
Hopefully he will show himself again when all the noise of the fireworks have quietened down.

Thanks Jayne. There was a comment on Seaford Notice Board page saying Griff was seen beach area 4 hrs ago .. think that would be about 10am. Searchers have been following him around Surrey flats area until about 11am but they (Lost and found pets, Seaford, Eastbourne and surrounding) say he has headed back towards the A259.

Helper annabanana is in the area and no sightings yet they have done both levels of Saltdean carpark and are still in that area.

Griff is not familiar with the area he is lost in as his owner has only just moved to Seaford from West Dean 2 weeks ago. She has however been over to her old address but no sign of Griff.
Email advice sent but not sure if owner will get it as her internet is playing up.
Have also advised to let all local Dog Wardens know as this area seems to be covered by more than one sometimes (animalwardens/Eastbourne/Lewes)

I have just had a message to say that Griff has been seen at Littlington Court, Surrey Road this morning. He has been crossing the A259 so let's hope he stays safe and is caught soon.
PS I have just been told there is an underground car park there so would be worth checking under cars in it just in case he is hiding. Also worth looking around any communal bin areas at the court.
