Welcome home Russelly after your farm adventure!
Goldenfarm
Received phone call around 9am with this fantastic news! The farmer was really helpful and it seems Russelly spent some days round the farm, but always out of reach. Hopefully he's been keeping out of the rain and finding food. Well done Ali and all who helped. Such a relief. Lovely photos. Stay safe Russelly xxLast edited: 2015-11-10 13:43:11 by Goldenfarm

Aw wonderful news! So pleased he's handed himself in :)
DogLostMandy (Wiltshire)
She's got him!!!!!
So much help from the local people who were keeping an eye out for him, they've been absolutely brilliant.
Ali spotted him and he came charging to her a la Love Story <3 :)
Goldenfarm
My husband was in touch with the farmer's wife at Arches Farm. Close to where he was lost really. She said the owner is around. She is going out on the quad bike to look for him again right NOW. She said she's spotted him twice today on the farm but he won't come near. I got no answer on the two numbers above and left a message for Ali. We must get him today, it's been long enough now. Come on Russelly, stop running off xxx
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Text both numbers, I believe Ali is there now :) Fingers crossed!

Really pleased there are sightings! Can't be much longer now, time to go home Russelly xx
DogLostMandy (Wiltshire)
There have been a couple of sightings over the last 24 or so hours in the same area of Corston that Russelly's owner is checking out.
Alimagic
Thank you Goldenfarm for all your efforts, I am going back to the area later today with some posters to put round the area and just keep going up and down that road. All the people who have seen him said he is wearing his collar so there's a good chance it's still got his ID disc attached so if he's found I can be contacted immediately.Last edited: 2015-11-08 15:53:57 by Alimagic

We've just returned from following up the last sighting (Friday as then) on the main road to Corston just coming out of Malmesbury. However as it was two days old it turned out to be fruitless. Went as far as Corston, not knowing about the sighting from yesterday. Back to work tomorrow, so, frustratingly, can't do anymore in daylight. Can the area be postered?
Alimagic
Yes, it's SN16, I've just returned from searching the area and surround and we have been told of another sighting from a lady who saw him around 5.30 am yesterday morning on the main road in Corston not far from the pub called The Rodbourne Arms, unfortunately she didn't say which direction he was heading, but we've walked and talked everywhere and everyone so can just hope he gets spotted again.
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Ali is Corston covered by the postcodes below that alerts went out to?
Alimagic
Just had a new sighting on Friday morning around 11.15 a lady said she saw him running on the footpath towards Corston on the main road, he was passing the last of the houses on the right as you leave Malmesbury, so that fits with the other report about Wiaitrose roundabout sighting, so please please if you know anyone in the Corstn area can they look out for him,
Alimagic
From what the lady said she thinks he went over the bridge towards town, she tried to run after him but couldn't find him, but I had another report of him at the bottom end of Cowbridge Crescent around 2am, so he may have found his way back, but there are so many places he could have gone through, especially being so small he could literally be anywhere. I'm going to get the bridge area searched again, just need people to keep checking their sheds and out buildings in case he's taken refuge in one.
Goldenfarm
Which side of the bridge did he run, left or right? I've looked at google maps https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Waitrose/@51.5791072,-2.0895751,725m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x48716de02ca873f5:0xe23b8d6d4a1c45e4!6m1!1e1
I notice that one side leads into an area bounded by the river Avon and is also backing onto the road where he first got lost. Please can you clarify for a search.

Ali I really hope this gets the ball rolling to get him home, if I see or hear any other sightings I will update here and have been in touch with Katy on Facebook so will be sure to get in touch that way too xx
Alimagic
Just heard from the lady that saw him on Thursday night and had a quick search of the area but in the dark it's impossible and there are so many places round there he could've gone, but I will search again when it's light. Thank you so much for all your efforts and shares, so very appreciated.
DogLostMillieVW - Area Volunteer - West Wiltshire
Have asked the lady that posted to call owner. I don't know Malmesbury at all but I hope it's possible he's out in the countryside and that's why there are no reported sightings. Fingers crossed!

Post on Spotted Malmesbury: 5th Nov at 9pm Please post ASAP
Please everyone in town look out for a small very stressed looking dog, he ran down from the waitrose roundabout and into the fields by the bridge around 8 o'clock, clearly very stressed. I stopped but was unable to find him in the dark by myself.

I posted Russelly Doglost page and looks to be a match, could he be holed up in these fields?
Alimagic
Thank you to everyone who is sharing and looking, he is a very small dog so could easily get into people's sheds, garages etc to shelter without anyone realising and is very shy with strangers so unlikely to approach people, please ask your friends and neighbours to check all their out buildings, thank you.
Hornsby
Already on group, is there any update xx
