- On Meredith, I am so very sorry. Awful, awful outcome. Most probably she went to heaven very quickly, even immediately. She would not have felt pain in a case like this. She was okay. She is safe now in God's arms as she has earnt her little wings. She is no longer lost. She will watch over you until you too have earnt your wings and you will be together properly once more. This I promise you. God bless you sweet, beautiful Ebony. In time, may your owners know peace. Xxx

- Emailed owner. It could be that the dog that was hit, was knocked unconscious and then recovered enough to move off. Or if not, did someone take the dog to the vets for chip checking or disposal? Or, did the local council cleansing dept collect a dog instead of the Highways Agency? Two separate road collection people. Or, did someone claim she was hit and took her home instead? Also, it may not be Ebony that was hit. Either way, we need loads of posters up. This will hopefully lead to someone coming forward with information or sightings. Hope you are okay Ebony, wherever you may be. Help your family find you if you can. x

- Might be worth putting some information through peoples doors near.
Someone might have taken the dog home and buried it.
I know that does happen .
Worth a try
Good luck - 2015-11-11 12:50 Cheryl
- Long shot.....but worth checking. X
