- Just seen this article. It doesn't say how old the dog is but if the Echo have covered Hesky's story it probably isn't him.

- Am reluctant to post this but an older boy was FOUND in Bloxwich with neurological problems (couldn't stand or eat and drink) and has sadly had to be pts by Island Vets, Bloxwich. Is 80 miles or so from home and impossible to tell for sure from the photo. https://m.facebook.com/groups/1507930106133238?view=permalink&id=1641058616153719Last edited: 2015-11-22 12:38:26 by Debby Cunliffe

- I've searched pex hill a couple of times, this time i also tried to look in places i thought others may not, i started around the picnic area then the quarry then off the main tracks and though the trees checking undergrowth etc towards the ruined house, i also did a loop around the houses on the right hand side of the road checking the hedges, ditches, the ponds in the field and went to see what two buzzards were doing (just incase,so sorry to think like that but at least i could rule them out) back onto the A5080 to check the rough grass and bushes back to the entrance of pex hill. If Hesky has headed back to pex hill there are so many out buildings in the houses he could be hiding in, i even tried to look in the grounds of the ruined house (wayside i think it's called) Which field did he run off across and which areas of pex hill does he usually get walked on? I can cover that area next time in case he heads back that way.

- Thanks for bumping Jackalee and Karis for posting the link to his fb group.
Family are doing a sterling job in their search for HESKY and are getting lots of fantastic support.
So pleased the Widnes World have done coverage there has been results in the past when a story has gone in the page. Fingers crossed it brings some sightings of HESKY.
Below is the article which is in the paper and Jackalee has posted the link:
A WIDNES family has been left heartbroken after their precious little Yorkie disappeared.
Hesky, a miniature Yorkshire terrier, scarpered after a firework went off.
His distraught owner, Lisa Cockram, aged 40, of Cowan Way, said: “I haven’t slept for over a week.
“Not knowing where he is is awful.
“I’m wondering if he is safe or on his own.”
Hesky was wearing a tartan collar and is black and tan in colour.
He vanished at around 5.30pm on Sunday, November 1.
After a massive hunt, his family is now appealing to World readers to see if anyone may have seen him.
Lisa has hand delivered flyers to hundreds of homes and businesses, visited dog homes and driven miles in a frantic search.
She has even set up a Facebook page Find Hesky And Bring Him Home which already has 1,000 followers as people across Widnes pledge their support.
Mum-of-three Lisa added: “We’ve had Hesky since he was six weeks old.
“He is 16 now but still plays football with my son.
“He is amazing.”
Lisa’s sons, Liam, aged eight, and Lewis, aged 17, daughter Lyndsey, aged 22, and husband, Ian, can’t wait to give Hesky a big hug.
Lisa’s brother, Paul McCunnell was taking Hesky for a walk at Pex Hill with his step child when a firework suddenly went off.
Lisa added: “Hesky has never walked on a lead. He always walks at your side.
“A firework went off and the dog ran across a field towards Cronton. My brother went after him but had to go back to get the child.
“Hesky is very familiar with Pex Hill but he doesn’t know Cronton.
“We thought that someone may have taken him in and not realise we are looking for him.”
Anyone who spots Hesky can call Lisa on 07769 712509. - 2015-11-12 19:01 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
