Thanks to Shelagh, I heard this boy was home (sorry, thought he was a girl before). Not been able to post till now. I do wonder whether the newspaper article had something to do with this? Did Jessie became too hot to to handle? I think so! Well done owners. Well done to all who helped. Phew! Glad Jessie is home safe. x

Stealing an animal is a theft, so Police should have checked this out by now as it is 15 days since dog was stolen. He needs to be made TOO HOT TO HANDLE and police should be followed up immediately. Have all dogs for sale sites been looked at. X

From Jessie's FB page 'Jessie was stolen from Islington on the 10th of November 2015 and was last seen being pushed into a green Vauxhall cavalier car In at texaco garage on the Caledonian Road N1. He is a tan coloured staffy with a white triangle on the back of his neck hand he has two scars. One on his front left arm and one under his right eye. He is microchipped too and that is marked as stolen now. Police have the CCTV footage and the car plates have been registered to an address in the newham area of London E16. He has an advert on dog lost.co.uk and I have also got a page called find Jessie grieve. He is also on numerous other lost and stolen dogs pages and I sent his story to the Islington gazette in hopes they can help find our boy.' it is not clear from the page whether the police have actually done anything yet.....

We need owner to update this site as that is where we will see and be able to work with them. Facebook is great for sharing but we can't help much if they stop posting on here. Can anyone advise owner, on her page, to also keep us updated here, please? Thank you. We still need to know if we can publish the CCTV?
Doglover
Was car seen on CCTV. How is it known that it was registered in Newham?
Unfortunately I do not do Facebook so unable to help owner there. If car was seen on CCTV have Police checked this out? Last edited: 2015-11-23 17:07:08 by Doglover

Jessie has her own page but suspect the owner needs some help to maintain it.

If car registered to Newham, are posters being put up in that area and are there any Travellers sites in that area as they life Staffies.? x

I've put details on here http://www.harringayonline.com/forum/topics/lost-stolen-dog-tan-white-staffie
Please confirm lost date - is it 10th November? Poster says 5th November. Also maybe poster should say lost in Islington N1 and car registered to Newham E16 (as poster says Newham N1 for car).Last edited: 2015-11-12 10:04:14 by Justine

more info from owner...
Someone stole our dog Jessie. He was last seen in Islington on Caledonian Road being pushed into a green Vauxhall cavalier on the 10th of November. Islington police have CCTV from the texaco petrol station on Caledonian Road where he was pushed into the car and also have the CCTV of the two white men who took him. The car reg was M708 .... But we can't make out the rest. Police have the full details . Please help us find our baby. There is a reward offered. He is microchipped. Our dog is tan coloured and he is a Staffordshire terrier. He has a white triangle on the back of his neck and two scars. One on his front left arm and on under his right eye. He's very friendly and is dearly missed. Our telephone numbers are
