- Message from owner Helen:
"Thank you so much for everyone who shared and helped get the word out that poppy had gone missing. Thankfully someone saw our appeal and brought her home safely to us. All your help was much appreciated and without it we may not have got her home safely and so quickly. Especially thank you to all the doglost volunteers who spread the word ❤ Helen" - 2015-11-13 09:53 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Fantastic news! So pleased for Helen and family who did so much to get this little girlie home.
I agree with Zoe. I'm sure that with all the support that they have had that Poppy was made too hot to handle as there were hundreds of posters put out and so many shares from everyone (including Uckfield FM who helped with Meera. Many thanks to them) and also a lot of Tweets for her too.
Thanks to Zoe for all your help. Thanks to all who have Tweeted, shared, searched and postered .. great job done by all.

- Brilliant news:-) I'm guessing with all the facebook coverage she was made too hot to handle? Sad that people still think its ok to pick up a dog and not report it to anyone. Glad she's home safely. x

- TRhanks Zoe.
This is the update on one of the posts earlier:
"Poppy update. D... has just gone through our security footage and we are keen to speak to a driver of a dark blue Volvo estate who is probably the last to see her at the bottom of the yard drive at 3:20 pm yesterday"
Agree with Zoe how important posters are going to be just in case Poppy has been picked up.
Please make her TOO HOT TO HANDLE.Last edited: 2015-11-11 21:54:56 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex - 2015-11-11 21:26 Zoe - Area Volunteer - East Sussex
- As clarkey has said, I have tried to give a few pointers to Poppy's owners via Facebook. I believe that there have been some posters already displayed locally. I know her owners have been active on Facebook and have many shares already. There is a suggestion that she "may" have been picked up but I don't think it's confirmed, but I've suggested postering a larger local area. I drive through Stonegate every day and I know a couple of dog walkers who live in Stonegate who are looking out for Poppy. I'm so glad that she is spayed as she will be no use to most people. Unfortunately she had no tag on her collar but is microchipped. Fingers crossed for her safe return but hopefully with lots of local publicity she will be too hot to handle if she has been picked up or people will be looking out for her if she's just taken herself off for a wander!

- Thanks Jayne and Springermad.
I have sent our Doglost email advice to Helen along with a list of vets in the area.
Poppy went missing yesterday and Zoe our Doglost helper has already been advising her owners.
Helen: Please get as many posters up as possible as this is the way to get sightings of Poppy. Also if someone has taken her in they will see them and contact you.
Good to see so many shares of owners photo and post on Fbk. I have shared to Doglost East Sussex and my page.
Please ask your friends to share this page too.
Best of luck with your search for Poppy. Hoping she is found very soon. - 2015-11-11 21:07 SpringerMad - Area Volunteer, East Sussex

- Jayne - not sure what has happened but the picture comes out blank when you click the share fb above. Also if you open the poster and try to share from there I am only getting the doglost bit?
