Thank you to everyone for their help. We still haven't found her or had any information on sightings at all. It's been 4 weeks now and we are still looking out for her. It's just so sad as she was let out by the builder at my parents house, who were looking after her, and we know that somebody saw her but they haven't come forward. The kids still miss her and is always mentioned as part of our family.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Is it worth doing a trip round the farmers out there just to let them know. I know two cases of farmers taking dogs in reporting them to the proper authorities and the messages never getting passed on. At least this way if Charlie is seen they'll know who to contact straight away. I know farmers on the back bone of Nuneaton so i'll hit them up and try to get it passed on to others they know. Also as i'm not too sure your exact location would it be worth postering up the A444? If people are out with there dogs and find her thats probably on of the most main routes for them to go home? Hope shes back safe soon. Dani xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hope Charlie is home soon. I'm a bit far out in Longford and don't often get up your way. Is the canal nearby? Loads of holidaymakers about at the moment so could be worth postering the moorings as they tend to do loads of walking around the area north of Coventry towards Barnacle etc.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Speak to your local NFU office and ask for the farmers' telephone numbers. It's probably the Atherstone branch, NFU Mutual Office, Tel: 01827 717515 Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Charlie needs some media coverage to help with the fact that the immediate area is rural.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This area is totally rural, the nearest helpful posting area is Coombe Abbey Country Park, a great favourite with dog walkers. I had a dog missing in this area a few years ago, missing for 7 weeks, but did get him back in the end with an animal trap. The difficulty here is the vast areas of farmland, too many places to hide. I'll go do a reccie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi i'm in cv10 i'll post her picture out to my mates and get them all to keep an eye out. If she's a nervous little guy what about ping notes through the surrounding neighbourhood asking people to check sheds and garages in case shes gone to ground somewhere. Hope you get some good news soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a gorgeous Poodle Charlie is, great photo of her. Poster as widely as possible, if she is not home by the local elections, hand out credit card sized posters at as many polling stations as you can. Worth giving her details to the RSPCA in Coventry and the Dogs Trust in Honiley, Kenilworth. Not that far away in CV8 so will keep an eye out for her when I'm out with my Dobes. Hope she is home soonxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
