Dont know much about owls, but I believe they can be quite vocal. Perhaps if the owl has not gone too far, if you listen you may hear him/her. Sure the owl would like to get back to the person/s he/she is used to. If you keep calling him/he would recognize your voice as he/she is tame Wings xd.

Article now in local papers.

This bird hand reared is used by owner to give demonstrations to children. This owl would not know how to hunt so please keep a look out he needs to be found ASAP.

Has this owl been registered missing at the IBR? I would expect so, as most bird of prey people know about the site.

This owl is extremely tame so please keep a look out for one being close to humans in appose to a wild one that would fly off. This male owl is this years hatching but now has adult feathers.
