Tx for update...please keep us informed...

Hi Kimmybear. Notes on face book are now saying...now believed stolen, There is also a message saying that there has been a possible sighting of Marley with 2 men (no description) around Morley Street..this was posted 7 hrs ago...x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Do we believe he was stolen? Or did he escape? Dogs would usually come back home is got out, unless something has stopped them. If owner thinks he couldn't, or wouldn't, get out by himself then she needs to get a crime number from police. the best way is to make this boy too hot to handle in any way we can. The problems is if we donlt know he was stolen, media may not pick up, so if anyone can think of another angle that media would be interested in, please use it and seek media attention with owner's consent. It is very possible he has been taken, so just in case let's presume so and do everything that will make him too hot.

Charlie and Sooty, I wish I had the expertise to follow up and work the sites that you and Hazel do, but age is against me I am afraid, so all I can do is to plead to other people with more knowledge of the Internet to help. Contact any schools and colleges and offer a reward towards schools funds the younger generation don't miss a thing and maybe will use their electronic devices to spread the word.
Shelagh
Stephen Cowens you can email all vets in 5 mile radius of missing area. If you are able send his doglost poster. This is important if not chipped. Also email all rescue centres and wardens if not done already.Somebody will need to monitor all dog selling sites at least daily in case somebody has picked him up.Also any sports grounds, golf courses, large parks email them and any park rangers as well.
Shelagh
Yes Dog lover I will contact tomorrow,as I like to look on map etc so I h ave idea of location.x

Just had a phone call with the first positive sighting 2 nights ago on the estate facing the Co op on the end of rhodesway. Which is literally half a mile from where marley lives.. The gentleman had his hands on him but went to take his belt off to put on him and he ran between his legs and gone the bloke jumped in his car following him but lost him on that estate.. If you are local please keep your eyes open in and around Chellow Dean.. Allerton howarth Rd.. Thankyou x

Re message below from Stephen Cowens:
please explain what is needed that can be done from afar. Email is currently my only form of communication: can I use that to help? I am willing to learn to use Twitter or anything else: what is the best tool for this purpose and where do I find out how to get started? I will soon catch on, just need some pointers please.

Shared in Bromley, Kent a long way away but you never know. I hope you find him soon xxx
Doglover
You also need to open a Facebbok page for FIND MARLEY also quoting any reward you are offering. Make him TOO HOT TO HANDLE by contacting police and getting a crime number. I am thinking of you and praying. Xx
Doglover
I so wished I was nearer to help you. But I live in Essex, but as a Staffie owner and knowing what lovely dogs they are, I can feel your pain. Are you in a built up area or are there any fields around you where he could be. Have you put lots of posters around in the streets and in shop windows. If you think he has been stolen notify the police and get a crime reference number and make sure that everyone knows that a crime has been committed. Also if someone has found him and not reported it, it is theft by finding. Unfortunately, I do not do Facebook so cannot help there. Have you contacted all vets, animal rescue centres etc.

Not getting many shares! Copied post from Stephen Cowens

It is heartbreaking to know that some lost/missing dogs are viewed to be more important than others, some get thousands of shares. Some get hardly any and only by a handful of people who like myself think all dogs are the same no matter what.. MARLEY IS ONE SUCH DOG WHO IS NOT GETTING ENOUGH SHARES TO FIND HIM. Who was lost/stolen nearly a week ago now from lower Grange Allerton bd8. It is pitiful hearing his distraught owner walking around the streets in all weather day and night shouting his name and crying her eyes out...Someone somewhere knows where marley is.. You may have bought him off some one not knowing he has a owner looking for him.. We need his face all over Bradford on every wall.. So I beg you please share to all groups and personal walls. Please call 07732927633 or 07729444529 if you have any information thankyou £100 pound reward for his safe return.
