i've posted posters to all the cm postcodes on the list and currently i'm ringing battersea and wallace's which is my local rescue place once a week. Can't thank you all enough

Spoke to Ben this morning. Ossie is still missing. Ben is still postering and has covered a lot of his local area. He is calling Battersea again today just in case. He's very grateful to Keelah for the press coverage. Widening search a bit more as no recent sightings so I've contacted as follows DOG WARDENS ? Basildon, Benfleet, Braintree, Chelmsford, Clacton, Colchester, Epping, Harlow, Havering, Maldon, Rochford, Southend, Uttlesford, Waltham Forest. KENNELS ? Bareham, Chalet, Chingford, Gemini, Ladybird, London & Essex, Normandale, Novem, Wallace, Wanderers. RESCUES ? Blue X, Dogs Trust, Mayhew, Mistley, Mutts in Distress, NAWT, PDSA Basildon, Romford, Southend, RSPCA Braintree, Colchester, Chelmsford, Terrier Rescue, Wood Green. VETS - Animal Ark, Ardmore, Ark, Avon House, Best Friends Billericay, Brentwood, Romford, Companion Care Beckton, Harlow & Romford, Elm House, Goddards (all), House & Jackson, Medivet Southend, Palmerstones, Tiptree, Wylies. My fax is playing up so will do more when sorted out. Asked Ben to try and post where he's done so that we know what's left.

Ossie remains missing, no sightings for two weeks but he is still one of th emost famous dogs in Chelmsford and owner continues to look

Hey Mousse Keep it up, it will pay off. Make sure you contact Jayne as she will be able to share with you the expertise of those on this site in terms of scenting and drawing ossie to you now you have a specific geographical area to concentrate onx

thanks for all the nice comments!! since i last posted i've had more sightings of ossie, all around the galleywood area. flooded area near the common with posters. been down searching every day since. mainly in bad weather and i've covered so many miles, i might even have lost some weight!!!! thanks again everyone and keep those eyes peeled

Thanks to the paper adds! got two sightings in galleywood, up by the common. wil be there most of today scouting and giving out posters. got my fingers crossed. I don't want to get too excited, but can't help it.

Have spoken to owner - site will not let him register, saying he already is!!! Can someone please help him with this? Ben just wants to say a huge thank you to everyone and is asking people who are postering offering help to contact him on his landline as he cannot post back via this site in order to work with you. Can someone also please do him a huge favour and email him the names of the rescue kennels he should be calling? I have urged him to ensure he rings warden. police and all rescue centres in a 20 mile radius at least once a day, but he does not know where to start. PM me and I will send you email address. Press release done and sent to owner to use for the local papers, when they open again tomorrow!

I live in chelmsford and will go out later today putting up posters, I am also going to some in to Pets at Home, Tesco Superstores and to the local kennels. Anything else I can do please shout!!!! Jen

just to say dont give up I just got my little girl back after 23 days on the run (look in reuntied co10) . shes not very sociable, so wouldn't go to any strangers. Please do the posters, you cant put up too many, it really helps and if you can get the local paper to run a stort or add it helps too good luck and all the best, Allison and kizzy x

Owner let Ossie out into his back garden just before mid night to do his business on returning several minutes later he was gone-He has been known to be a Houdini before but no sightings at all in the area suggests someone has picked him up.

The dog found is deffo not Ossie from info from telephone call today - We will go see him tomorrow and get photo's as I have just got back to London and its to late to visit him tonight - will update admin when I have seen the found bully :) Susie

One of our local doglost helpers who happens to also own and EBT is going over to take a look and some photos of the found dog which is NOT tatooed-yet to be taken to the vets to be scanned.
