Perhaps someone fell for these cuties, and then ralized they could`nt cope. Sure they will be rehomed soon

this is one of the time I wish dogs could talk - wonder what is behind 3 small healthy cute little dogs would be abandoned together. we will never know, but I do know they will soon be in new homes - if I didn't have 5 already I would love all 5 of them as I wouldn't be able to choose.

One of the vets local to the area found is at Princes Risboro.I think Sprinz and Nash. They may know of these dogs.

"I am receiving lots of messages regarding rehoming the 5 dogs we found this morning so would like to confirm the following.
These dogs HAVE to go through the council stray system. They will go to kennels for 7 days so any owner can come forward & claim them.
After 7 days they will be placed in a rescue - if we have the space available, we will of course, offer to help with their rehoming.
Sorry but I cannot reply to all the PM's I am currently receiving regarding offering them a home."

Seen on original post - all have collars, not chipped. Original post now has nearly 5,000 shares. No results so far. Dogs now with dog warden - We will see what transpires.

Agree with last 2 comments, are they chipped and can owner be traced/helped? Do local vets have any records ( tho data protection may well apply) There may be a very sad story behind these lovely dogs.

Having blown up the phot - these dogs all look well cared for - is the person who left them where they would be found and looked after - at their wits end. We need to find the owner to ensure that the person is alright - may have lost their job/home or be very depressed.

How strange....probably a case that the owners just can't keep them for whatever reason and leaving them like that guarantees a place in rescue? They look groomed and well kept so not typically 'dumped'.

DO YOU RECOGNISE THESE DOGS?

Left outside SDR between 07.45-07.55am this morning (Sunday 22nd Nov).

4 tied to a tree and another left in a crate which she had escaped from.

1 small male terrier (poss chih x jrt)
1 female Dachshund
1 female grey & white Shih Tzu
1 male white Shih Tzu
1 female Pomeranian

None microchipped
DW aware

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
