What great news. This reinforces the "never give up" message to all of the devastated dog owners who haven't yet got their babies back.

Leah has been caught via a DW's trap - safe and well.

Not sure who Love Eurasier is but this comment below is not about Leah. it appears there was a GSD registered 20th February 2016 whose owner was knocked over trying to save the dog. Not Leah. This took place in SE London. The dog was from Romania but was owned by the man who got knocked over trying to save her. It was in the newspapers... NOT DEFINITELY DEFINITELY NOT LEAHLast edited: 2016-05-17 19:18:11 by AnnPursey

The team working on reuniting Leah are mainly working on a Facebook group now to keep as much info flowing as possible as that's where most of the info seemed to come in to at the time. Small community all working together. It's very disturbing that the dead dog was never identified - or in fact even found. And no sightings since then is even more worrying but there are still LOTS of people working on reuniting her.

Hmmm... it doesn't seem like anyone directly involved with the search for Leah is monitoring doglost(?). A dog very like Leah was seen (and photographed) in the Tadcaster area (previous sighting was Bramham) at the end of Jan., which the Leah team concluded was almost certainly her. On the evening of 2 Feb a dead dog was reported on the A64 Tadcaster, but it's proved impossible to confirm - neither Highways, Police, nor Council have found /recovered a dog, and the Leah team searched without finding anything, so there's a big question mark over this. However, there don't seem to have been any sightings since, so rather worrying nevertheless. There is a Thunderclap for Leah scheduled for 22 Feb. https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/37565-help-find-leahLast edited: 2016-02-14 20:02:23 by Svend

Can someone please change the Region to "North East" - I think that would make more sense than "East Anglia".Last edited: 2015-12-07 18:51:33 by Svend
