- Sad to report after an exhaustive search round an 18 hole golf course all we found was a golf ball. No sign of Katie. Posters on display in case! Thanks for all your support. I still hope she is with someone so keep your eyes open for any 'new' dogs on your patch over past 9 months. Remember look for a light circular patch on left side of nose as you face the dog.

- Possible sighting Sunday 7th August Kingsdown golf course between Box and Monkton Farleigh. She has been missing 9 months now but we never give up hope. Golf club has been notified and posters distributed but local road closures prevented us covering whole area.

- No record of dog found REF 97093 as being picked up by Cardiff Dog Warden, so back to 'the drawing board'
- 2016-01-10 18:35 Rod
- Will be checking out 97093 (dogs found) to see if any further news from Cardiff Dog Warden. You never know. Meanwhile have another protected night Katie.

- Thanks for your concern. It's 6 weeks now since Katie escaped with only two possible sightings. The first was a false alarm via Dog Warden as by the time we were informed the dog in question had been collected by true owner. The second was a mystery fb text from 'jo' stating that a dog matching Katie's description seen outside Dauntsey Academy the day before text sent 3rd Dec. We were there 20 min later but no sign and no reply to my calls to 'Jo'. Since then no further information received. We just keep checking this site Anibase, and Council Dog Warden, plus daily searches by ourselves and local dog walkers. WE have not given up hope.

- Hi. Still hoping for some news on Katie x
- 2015-12-21 12:01 Rod
- Thanks to all those looking out for KATIE on this her 4th week since going missing, but sad to say not a single report of a sighting. We check weekly with Council dog wardens, local dog kennels and the Anibase Microchip company, plus of course a 3X a day search through all of DogLost search areas. We feel certain that someone has her but for what purpose? she may even be out of our area by now. So keep up the good work but don't let it stop you having a joyfull Christmas

- The dog found in Tidworth was not Katie. Last edited: 2015-12-03 04:56:24 by BUBBLES

- No news, no sightings, no dog. just returned from Bath cat & dog home but similar dog there not KATIE. Sister KIM who went at same time NOT the dog involved in car accident (confirmed by Vet) as first thought so it might have been KATIE. But no proof that she was even in the area.

- Just had a private message come through, not sure if the distance is to far. A black collie type dog has been found in Tidworth this morning, not sure if finder has still got the dog or dog warden. Have sent the owner a text message.

- The accident was at Heath Bridge outside the Goss farm with car moving towards Worton village. If Kim was involved, as we suspect, she then came cross country to Cedar Close. Thanks for your concern.

- Thank you for the update and sorry it is not better news. I have sent our general information and advice in the hope it gives you a few more ideas.

- Rod and Gill owners of Kim and Katie. Both dogs went missing Thursday 26-11 10.30 am. Friday 27th at 8.30pm we heard of a black dog being hit by a car 1 mile away at 8pm. As we digested this news Kim was found in next doors drive, bloody nose and limping. Enquiries lead us to believe Kim may have been in the accident, so she is found and home improving. But as for KATIE no news at all. We have had search parties out dawn till dusk checking field hedgerows in particular and posters spread about. All the authorities have been informed so the only thing remaining is HOPE.

- Sorry to see that KATIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (95216)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
