- Post from Lilah’s Facebook Page:-
So long since I have written a status. I am still here and still wishing, hoping, looking for our beautiful Lilah. In four months it will be four years since you changed my life forever. No sightings, no news, and no hope. You have made me so many friends in the doggy world who are all awaiting news of their missing babies too but sadly so many of them have the same problems as us. No news, not sightings. This has been an awful year, your Nana died a couple of weeks ago and left another big gap in our lives. We will not ever give up looking for you and all I can do is pray that you are somewhere nice, warm safe and loved, because anything less would destroy me. We will never stop looking for you beautiful girl xxx - 2018-11-27 23:44 VetsGetScanning
- On Lilah’s FB group
Well its been three long years tomorrow and we are still here, as I know some of you are. We are still looking, praying and hoping for some news of what happened to our beautiful Cyprus rescue. By now Lilah should have been enjoying her forever home (where she was travelling too when they opened the car door 80 miles away from us and she ran). I rue that day with every single breath. We were already resigned to the fact that Lilah would stay with us forever after 7 months, but the rescue found an adopter. I should have told them that they were not suitable and that we had concerns and weren't prepared to let her go, but that wouldn't have been true. They were a lovely couple with so much to offer Lilah. But trusting your instinct is not guaranteed, these people are the only reason our beautiful Lilah is missing. Three long years of searching, wondering, hoping, crying and being dragged into the very unhappy world of missing dogs. Over the last three years we have met some amazing dog owners who are going through the same thing that we are. We have created a facebook page "One Big Bark" where 8000 members can post their missing dogs with no ego's or arguments or derogatory comments and all groups and admins are welcome. We have had some lovely reunited stories, but so many more missing without a trace stories. When will it be Lilah's turn? When will someone step forward and say that they saw something or that they think someone acquired a dog like Lilah around that time. Unfortunately it took the adopters too long to contact us and tell us she was missing for us to be able to travel 80 miles on that fateful night. But we were there first thing next day and there appeared to be sighting not too far away in Cheslyn Hey. We raced over there to no avail. Did anyone see her? Did someone take her in because it was November and cold? Did the travellers close to where she was seen pick her up? There must be one person, somewhere that knows something and can put an end to three years of torment for me and my family. I am so grateful to each and everyone of you that has remained vigilant on this page, but it is time to starting opening Lilah's page up to help some other desperate missing dog owners, so please feel free to share other missing dogs to Lilah's page but please dont ever forget her. Much love to you all as always xxx - 2018-11-11 00:56 Scruffy Dog - Central Team Volunteer

- This has been shared on facebook....******* CALL FOR HELP *******
We are organising a SEARCH FOR LILAH on SUNDAY 14th FEBRUARY.
We will be meeting at 12 NOON at HILTON PARK SERVICES on M6 and breaking up in to small groups to search the area outwards from Hilton Park Services where Lilah went missing from.
We are asking if anyone lives in/near the area she went missing from -ESSINGTON, CHESLYN HAY, FEATHERSTONE, COVEN, COVEN HEATH, SHARESHILL, CALF HEATH, GREAT WRYLEY, LITTLE SAREDON, WILLENHALL AND BLOXWICH to please spare us a couple of hours, or if you have friends in these areas to share this post to see if they can help.
Thank you to those who have already messaged us to say they can help, but we could do with a few more volunteers to help us. Thank you 💕 - 2016-02-05 18:57 Rose
- She has been out a long time now. I know labs are very good at catching rabbits as mine used to bring them home so she could be surviving out in the wild. Thank goodness the weather is mild. Is it possible as there have been no recent sightings that someone picked her up? Would she go to anyone? x

- Hi Donnagail. Please email the info you want updating to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting ID95269 and I will update the page as only the person who registered the dog can update the page.
- 2015-12-21 22:06 Donnagail
- How can I update info for this page please?
- 2015-12-21 13:27 Owl
- I don't see how they could undo the work already done? However, any tracker would need a more recent sighting to work from. Jesshammond, please would you update this page with news as it happens? That would be a great help as Facebook info doesn't always get over to Doglost.
- 2015-12-21 08:37 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- Please note there is already an excellent team in place under the guidance of a very expereinced tracker already. I am not sure another person who is based far away in Kent could help and could undo all the work the team has already done.

- Have you got in touch with Tiga and Jenny yet. I know they managed to track and catch a newly rescued dog lost in very similar circumstances last year. Worth contacting her.

- Thanks Owl, we are not digarding she is still in the area and thriving! (I hope) She is not a dog that was brought up on the sofa so Im hoping she is looking after herself, thank you for the update. xx

- We have no reason to suppose that the sighting was not genuine. Also there is no reason to think she is very weak. Labs are very good at finding food and they aren't fussy. I am told there are a lot of rabbits in the area. If she can hunt she will live quite well off the land. She may have moved further away.Last edited: 2015-12-11 17:03:42 by Owl

Thankfully we have put up posters all over Cheslyn Hay, Calf Heath, ShiaHill and Hilton Business Area - It has been in the local paper and on the radio. We are all still hoping someone will see her and get in touch!

- Hi all, I have just been messaging Jane.
Lilah's foster family are now in the area where she has last been seen, there have been a few sightings within a fairly small radius. If anyone is out looking in the areas she's been seen in WV10 around the A449 slip road, can I ask that, if she's not in danger, can you monitor and track her progress and share any updates of sightings on here, please? hate for her to run off/go underground again when the people she knows will be there within the hour. Thank you x - 2015-12-01 16:59 Owl

- Lilah's foster family are phoning round local vets and rescue centres this morning, asking if she has been brought in and asking people to look out for her. Details have been shared widely in the area she was last seen. We have launched a social media campaign on Facebook, 'Get Lilah home for Christmas' which has so far reached nearly 3,000 people.
- 2015-11-29 19:34 Jane Hammond
- We have searched again today and at this time we have been unable to find her.
We are hopeful that local people can continue to be on the lookout for her as we have had to return home in Portsmouth at this time.
There is unconfirmed reports that she was taken to sunny side kennels but as they were closed today we will have to check on this on Monday - 2015-11-29 12:08 Hollieberry
