- Janiejewel1649 Many years ago I used to trap the local feral cats to take to the vets for spaying ect and quite often the same cat was caught twice so I said to the vet and the cat protection league why not snip of a corner of one ear so we all know which cat has been done like they do in countries like Tunisia .Needles to say after that all the cats I released back where they had come from had an ear snipped. So I kind of like to think I had a part in that practice .

- Feral cats that have been spayed/neutered will have their left ear "Clipped" They take off about half an inch (Straight cut) when the cat is under anesthetic being spayed/neutered. So they know which cats have had the "Op" Only some people think it is because they have been fighting; not always the caseLast edited: 2015-12-01 16:15:36

- My neighbour had this problem about two years ago. However Cat protection were called, and they took them all away, and had them spayed/neutuered . including the mother. One of the kittens looked like a "Full Tom" so we think he is the daddy. I wish owners of domesticated cats would have their cats spayed/neutered. It` common sense. Last edited: 2015-12-01 15:57:16
