The PCSO who has been helping owners called this morning with their contact details. Just called for an update and the 2 little monkeys are now home, found along a lane on the outskirts of Bradpole. Nervous but otherwise OK. They have had baths a small amounts of food as very hungry after their adventure.

Thanks Alison, Report saying they have now been seen in Melplash this evening. They are still very young to be running loose.

Update on the Safer Neighbourhood page:

UPDATE: Following our appeal for information on the 2 dogs reported as stolen, a number of people have come forward with information or sightings. It would now appear that the dogs escaped from a rear garden, rather than having been stolen. We would like to reassure residents of Salwayash that theft of pets continues to be very rare. These dogs are still outstanding and we are continuing to work with the owners in order to reunite them. Please share any further sightings!

Email sent asking for owner's contact details as we need a photo for the alerts to be sent out.
I have seen posts on the Bridport, Beaminster safer neighbourhood Facebook page reporting 2 spaniels seen running in nearby fields so maybe escaped rather than stolen.
