Not sure why Leo is on miltefosine and allopurinol but if it is for leishmaniasis, owner might like to know my dog was given it for leishmaniasis when it was a new drug on the market in 2006 and we did not know how effective it would be but had great results and she moved to UK two years later and has shown no sign of the disease ever since that treatment.

No more sightings since yesterday morning so hard to know if he's still in the woods or has moved on. Hopefully the search this afternoon will give us more info.

circulating on twitter........LEO Black Lab SIGHTED http://bit.ly/1jHsn3C #LittleChalfont #HP6 Urgent Needs Meds SEARCH PARTY at 2pm Plz RT
LynnV
If you are interested in a tracker, this lady can work miracles and found my friend's terrier in a fox hole on farmland 24 hours after she went missing. http://www.k9tracker.co.uk/
LynnV
Sorry, we are out this afternoon so cannot make the 2pm search, but, further to my text, walked up Bell, along bottom of West Woods all the way to Stoney Lane, crossed, did both woods along to Chenies Manor and then went down and along the river below Latimer "just in case". Wish we could help at 2. A trap does sound as though it could be heading towards the way forward now as a tracker won't really help given that you know where he is. Good luck.

Any more news Sam99? X

Spent two hours this morning walking the woods at Westwood and spotted Leo 5 times myself, plus lots of other sightings from walkers. He is using the woods as his base and running scared. Couldn't get closer than 20ft before he ran again. My dog River got to say hello, but not me.
Have advised Emma to BBQ sausages at dusk in the hope she can tempt him close enough to catch.
He is running well (too well) and doesn't appear to be injured, though hard to tell from a distance. He's going to be hard to catch as he is so nervous, so maybe worth looking into a dog trap if not caught over the weekend.

Fingers crossed Leo will be safely home soon x

Seen at 7:30 this morning at a house down Bell Lane, then ran off into the woods towards Westwood. More recently seen by a cyclist in the car park at Westwood. Emma there now and I'm heading down.

I tried contacting little chalfont golf club but think maybe it's closed? I have emailed Leo's poster to Harewood Downs Golf Club. Can the chip contact details be changed from Spanish rescue to Emma's? Also is home far away, maybe Leo is headed there? X

Just home after another 2 hours searching with Emma. Westwood Park and the woods plus the undergrowth behind GE where he was last seen. Met up with Marcus and Maisey (Bucks dog walkers) and they now have a scent to try and search. Posters at Westwood, Tesco, L.Chalfont library and Harewood Downs golf club. Still no sightings or phone calls.

Buckinghamshire Dog Walkers could you please give me a call 07961 447896 as
I'm about to head up to Westwood for another search. Meeting Emma at 2:30 in the car park if you want to join us or meet up with Maisey for a scent. Will poster the entrances. Emma is postering Little Chalfont a the moment.
Buckinghamshire Dog Walkers, Boarding & Training
Westwood park and fields towards van Hague searched but know sign. Maisey my black lab caught the sent of something along the A404, we walked towards Chorleywood until she stopped at the end of burtons lane, but know sign. This was an hour ago. She is ex army and knows how to track, different sents. 100% this was a dog she was tracking and we will be going out again shortly.
LynnV
If he went towards Westwood Park from the A404 side, it might be worth having a look towards Chenies Manor and, at a long shot, in the woods "opposite" van Hage because if he ran along the A404 and somehow crossed, he could end up towards Chorleywood.

I'm just home after searching and having met Emma. Top and bottom station car parks searched as well as Bedford Ave, Chenies Ave, and Russell Close. Station officer aware. As Lynn says, the railway track is very well fenced off so he is unlikely to have crossed. I searched round the back of GE (opposite Tesco) and I know Emma covered that area earlier this morning. Posters printed and Emma going out now with them.
LynnV
As discussed by text this morning but for the benefit of other searchers, my dogs and I spent an hour from 11h00-12h00 searching the top of Bell Lane towards Latimer and the woods up to and behind the Raans Lane farm (as far behind as the railway line, which is securely fenced off). I whistled and called but there was no movement around that whole area. I have shared on FB, alerted the local postman and water workers and informed neighbours. Also consider posting on Lostbox Pets on Facebook which can reach non-doggy people. And Wheelhouse Vets FB. Would be in a state if it was me so, thinking of you - good luck!
