- Jessie was spotted running in the road last night and a man stopped his van and caught her. It was late so took her home and then to the vets for scanning. The vets scanned and even remembered the case as not that far away.

- A similar looking but slightly larger puppy has been found in Southwark, south-east London. Here's the FB page of the person who found her. Her page is set to Friends Only but I think the post about the puppy is public. It says the puppy is not chipped. However, chips can move (particularly in young animals as they grow) or not be detected by the less powerful scanners some shelters and pounds have.

- This is posted as a comment on Jessies FB page: Monika had a threatening phone call via Facebook from someone who said that they had her puppy and demanded £500. This person was a traveller and the according to the local community they have identified the person who stoke the pup as being a traveller from a nearby site. So this person making the call and threats knows something. He also made fun of her sadness and her son's medical problems. He also threatened her. The Police have been informed. Apparently they have identified the theif from cctv and just need to find and catch him. Monika is very distressed . Louisa thanks for your message and hope . We are trying to remain positive xx

- Skywalker: Unfortunately, we non-facebookers can't do that - I have tried twice now by copying and pasting the IRL and get the same problem as Doglover - it just says you can go no further without logging onto Facebook. Thus, we are still in the dark about what's happening at the moment.
- 2016-02-07 11:55 Skywalker99
- Try cutting and pasting the iral in my comment (that's the bit that starts http so and ends =ts). Highlight it by holding the left mouse button down and dragging the cursor along it, then press Ctrl and c on your key board at the same time. Then click in the space where you type the web address, delete anything in there, make sure the cursor is in the box, and press Ctrl and v at the same time. The url should appear and then press return. Sorry of this is teaching you to suck eggs....

- Update...Police have Cctv and it shows a grainy picture of the thief. The Police know the thief go into a white van so the Police will now check the road cctv around the local area . We plan to prosecute the theif and release the cctv footage to the press so if anyone has Jessie or knows anything now is the time to hand her in to a vet as found...no questions asked. Happy Christmas to you all and thanks for the support x

- Hi Skywalker99, I know from working in a bank for 30 years, that any incidents, the Police were round the next day or same day, to view CCTV, this is why I said dog theft or any theft, is still a crime and agree with you, 3 weeks is far too long. Disgusting if you so me. Unfortunately, do not read the Daily Mirror so would not have seen story, but I will have a look and see if I can find it on Internet. I am too far away to help as in Essex, but hope the scoundrel is caught a soon. X
- 2015-12-22 13:56 Skywalker99
- Doglover, Jessie has been in the daily mirror, suspect is described as male, aged 15-20, white with short dark brown hair wearing black clothes. Sure the cctv footage would have been available before now if someone had been hurt...do the police not understand about trails going cold? 3 weeks is too long!
- 2015-12-22 13:47 Doglover
- How old is yours Son? Did he say whether it was a man, or woman or teenagers? Has he given a description to the Police? I agree with all hVe posted that it is terrible that the Police have taken 3 weeks to look at CCTV, disgusting if you ask me as this a crime, as much as any other crime. Hope Jessie is found soon. Xx

- 2015-12-22 11:20 Skywalker99
- Why does it take nearly 3 weeks to get CCTV....not only did they steal the dog but the presumably intimidated the child too. CCTv should be easy to check within the first few days, what have the police been doing?
- 2015-12-22 11:15 Monika
- Hi Rose. I should know everything about CCTV tomorrow. I will never left my dog unattended. She was take from my son hands.x

- Any news regarding the cctv? Was Jessie actually stolen from the hand of your son or was she tied up outside? x
- 2015-12-15 22:46 Monika
- Hi Sarah. I'm so sorry to hear that's your puppy was stolen same like mine . I do everything what I can to get her back but.... Me and my boys especially my youngest are heartbroken. I don't have a lot of sleep since Jessie was taken. I do all the time searching if he in case did post her anywhere for sale . I feel for you and your little girl... What a monsters take them .. 10 days till Christmas and everyday I am more desperate to find her... Jessie my little princess cost me a lot and even in the hardest way she won't be found I can't afford to buy another one ... It's very sad because she means everything to me ...
I will keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you...
Thank you so much to everyone for help share and support. Please keep going we need your help to find her xx - 2015-12-15 22:25 sheltielover
- Yes Nina - Lola is being shared on my wall as well, I talk about her as well. I just hope that we find not only Lola but all the stolen dogs I am looking for - from all areas - once stolen they could be anywhere. What started me on this was a Shetland Sheepdog stolen - it was eventually found over 500 miles away - dumped as too hot to handle and re-united by its chip.

- To you Sarah and to Monika - I will not rest until they are home. I live in Hampshire - but posters are up for both these little puppies - I also talk to people going to the train station and in the street and hand them a leaflet. My page is full of shares for both dogs. Saint Nicholas, aid us in our search, and if you are too busy I will ask all the dogs at Rainbow bridge to talk to us in our sleep and help these babies home.
- 2015-12-15 13:59 Sarah
- Hi Monika. I am fighting for the return of my daughter's puppy, Nala who some unmentionable thought they would help themselves to. I feel for you and your poor little man as I can see in my little girl's face what he is going through.
These idiots really didn't think about the mother's protecting the little people to which they belong. I don't know about you but the longer this goes on the angrier I become and the more driven I am to find them. The easiest option is for them to return the puppies now so we can let our little ones enjoy the Christmas they so deserve. I warn them now, if they don't it will only make me fight harder with tougher consequences at the end.
The people behind DogLost have been amazing. You are probably already on it but local schools have been really helpful and are a great source as children like to talk! Also the local papers / radio stations have all been great. The local FB buying and selling sites get word travelling quickly. We also walked round local shopping centres handing out leaflets but also having posters pinned to our coats ... it gets a lot of people talking!
I will be following your progress and keeping all fingers and toes crossed for pups safe return.
- 2015-12-15 13:42 Nina

- Today message is to the THIEVES:
You must have thought Friday was your very lucky day!!! Not only are you trying not to be caught but you have our little girl messing all over the floor because you don't know her like we do. I expect she is chewing everything in sight and become a real hassle if you weren't prepared for a cheeky puppy.I can imagine you are now fretting as you know people are looking for her everywhere. How on earth are you going to get rid of this puppy because all the time she's missing the search continues!!! Don't think this is it!!! This is only the beginning!!!!!!!!
...............................
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shared my post and for all your kind comments. I am overwhelmed by the support received. Xx - 2015-12-12 17:00 Unknown

- Contact all schools and colleges and offer a reward towards school funds. Contact taxi firms, post men or the sorting office, council offices to see if they will spread the word. Come on the people of Croydon area get the word out. The amount of dogs that are being stolen at the moment in this country is an outrage.Last edited: 2015-12-06 14:32:24 by Nina

- I am so pleased that Lidl responded to the 'tag' in Tweet about Jessie. Have the Family spoken with The store manager , asked about CCTV Footage , do we know ?

- Crossposting from facebook "Plea from grandmother :- My grandson age 3 has has major heart surgery at a Great Ormond Street and has been through so much in his life. Jessie is his first pet and he is distraught that his puppy has been stolen. It's so sad for the family as they have been through so much. Please help. ..someone knows something and there is a good reward now. I can offer £100 to try and get her back. My grandson means the world to me and I will do anything to bring his puppy back. I hope that no one has hurt her"
