- Hi Martin where about in Wn4 is this. Will share on Twitter.
- 2015-12-06 19:55 Nina
- Following up on Weimlovers advice you can also and I use the basic terms I'm afraid do an added thing.. If you collect your pee and put it in some kind of container you can sprinkle a trail from a route back to your front or back door. You can also do this with cut up small pieces of old socks etc as long as it has your scent on it, this is called the scenting method. leaving his bedding in a dry place outside would be good, this is all supposing that he has escaped or perhaps has been encourage to leave the house by 'others'.
- 2015-12-06 19:30 Martin2015
- we've checked everywhere in and outside the house so far. I hope he's okay.Last edited: 2015-12-06 19:30:47 by Martin2015

- I would still check the rest of the house, just in case, if you haven't already. You seem to have some nice neighbour's (not), have you told the police about your suspicions?Last edited: 2015-12-06 19:30:34 by Skywalker99

- weimlover: we don't have food delivered to us we pick it up from a local pet shop, and thanks for the advice.
- 2015-12-06 19:18 Martin2015
- Nina: we haven't given him any squeaky he only had check toys and rope as his new teeth were coming through and he was getting out the habit of chewing peoples hands. My family suspect a neighbour down the road from us as two teenagers who are friends with them a few months back tried to let our chickens escape by going into the garden and throwing them over the fence, although that time the neighbours saw them doing it and stopped them.

- Could PUP maybe have escaped when Food Delivery arrived ?
Pleez empty the contents of your Hoover bag into an open container, somewhere safe outside, & or a 'smelly' item of family clothing , PUP will sniff them out if He is straying & unable to find his home x - 2015-12-06 19:15 #stoppettheft

- I have tweeted this link , hope Someone knows where your lovely PUP is x
Another thought , had your Puppy's photo been posted on social media ? Someone 'local' Knew Where to find him ? Last edited: 2015-12-06 19:12:20 by #stoppettheft - 2015-12-06 19:10 Martin2015
- Skywalker99: (he is 21 weeks old) We just kept him in the hall so he could only go there. We've checked everywhere we can in and around the house. We asked neighbours if they saw something but nobody did. Our local night watch is helping look for him right now and people around the area are keeping an eye out. The door was unlocked but i assume that was my Older son forgetting to lock the door after ordering food. and nothing else i know of was taken it seems the person must have only opened the front door and he's ran to them and taken them. I am worried as he hadn't eaten anything since last nights dinner.
- 2015-12-06 19:10 Nina
- Just thought Martin. Does Hamish like squeaky toys if so try squeeking one and see if you get a response in doors.
- 2015-12-06 19:09 #stoppettheft
- Or was there evidence of a dooor being forced ?
- 2015-12-06 19:08 #stoppettheft
- Yes, Skywalker, there was a PUP a while back who was found stuck between settee cushions ? % another locked in a cupboard ?
- 2015-12-06 19:01 Skywalker99
- Not Sure how old he is, but the house needs to be thoroughly checked...puppies can get into odd nooks and crannies, behind white goods, cushions etc. Was front door unlocked and open or just unlocked? Anything else taken?Last edited: 2015-12-06 19:01:38 by Skywalker99

- What part of WN4 are you please, I will share to our fb page
- 2015-12-06 18:25 Martin2015
- Nina: i will try to get back as soon as possible to each person. I'm worried about where he could be and we need all the help we can get.
- 2015-12-06 18:10 Nina
- Got to say Martin I like your style in answering straight away. Please stay in touch with doglost So many owners forget that we are here and put info. elsewhere so that we never get to be involved.
- 2015-12-06 18:06 Martin2015
- Nina: we've told the microchip company know what happened.
- 2015-12-06 18:04 Nina
- Make sure you let the micro chip company know he is missing also if insured let them know as well.
- 2015-12-06 18:03 Martin2015
- Martina: No they only did a one day job so they didn't have keys to the house.
- 2015-12-06 18:02 Martin2015
- Nina: we have shared on multiple social media to help him found. Hope he's found soon!
- 2015-12-06 18:00 Nina
- Got to say Martin this is a strange one! So now its a case of working hard to get it known that he is missing. Facebook, Twitter and lots of posters. Contact schools and colleges and offer a reward towards school funds. As a thought I am sure you have turned your home upside down to search for him.
- 2015-12-06 17:58 Martina
- Did the builders have keys for your house by any chance? Maybe sounds harsch but I wouldn't trust anyone and it only takes a minute to get another key cut.......is the police involved?
- 2015-12-06 17:52 Martin2015
- Nina: She only went to the bathroom and didn't go outside, he was still asleep.the front door was unlocked when i came downstairs this morning. No grudges as far as i know. He's only 21 weeks old, he seems friendly with visitors and builders that worked here not so long ago.
- 2015-12-06 17:46 Nina
- So Martin did your daughter open any doors to let him into the garden. Has anyone got a key. Is anyone holding a grudge. How old is Hamish anyway as no details of age given As a Scottie owner myself our dogs have mostly been a little reserved with strangers.
- 2015-12-06 17:40 Martin2015
- Nina: Since he's a puppy we think whoever got in the house woke him up and he must've ran to them, cause he's very friendly to strangers and other dogs. My daughter last saw him at 5am so he was taken during early hours of the morning from 5am to 10am as i woke up at this time to go shopping.
- 2015-12-06 17:36 Nina
- Martin2015 please give us more information to go on otherwise I for one don't know what to think.
- 2015-12-06 17:18 Martin2015
- Rose, He was stolen from inside the house.
- 2015-12-06 16:53 Nina
- Been in touch with STECS Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme to let them know so they can spread the word. Do hope Hamish is found soon. Its outrageous just how many dogs and puppies are being stolen.
- 2015-12-06 16:53 Rose
- Also need to get loads of posters out so that people are aware. Was he taken from your garden? Do you have CRN? Hope he is found very soon x
- 2015-12-06 16:39 Jaycey
