- Other Info Police had no report of any local missing or stolen dogs fitting his description however Police recd a call this morn frm concerned member of public abt a man trying to sell an Akita round the doors in Moredun... Moredun is just across the rd frm where this boy was found, so he cd be stolen from further afield or dumped now..

- I am sure i have seen this dog posted on gumtree about 5 months ago as lost/stolen, maybe an idea to get the post onto gumtree to see if owner is still looking

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
