I was so incredibly happy to hear that sweet Mearl was found safe and well. Thank goodness she was "dumped". And luckily she was safely dumped. Was worrying so much about their girl and I think our suspicions were correct. Well done to all who helped and alerted owner. Thank you Jayne in HQ for letting me know. I emailed owner direct after. Welcome home, you gorgeous girl. X

Confirmed home and info being passed onto doglost investigations...we ask at this stage no further info on where found etc put on social media as tryng to help the owner of the 2 stolen Lurchers. well done owner for taing advise and sharing the doglost poster all over the social media so a connection could be made.

Have checked out Facebook page for Mercer and Hughes. Definitely Mearl have phoned owner who confirmed she received a call from the Vets this morning and it is Mearl. Owner told me that her dog was dumped only yards from where the two Lurchers in Thaxted were stolen. Poor Mearl was just dumped. Unbelievable. Owner will update page later as she has been inundated with phone calls. Brilliant news stay safe now Mearl. Xxxx

Hi Bluerose, put on Millenium Vets lost and found page in Braintree. With am is not that far away. Also if you think she has been stolen, the. Notify the police and get a crime reference number, then make sure you put crime ref number on posters etc and make her TOO HOT TO HANDLE. If anyone has her this should frighten them. Xx

Okay, owner - I am emailing you everything to do. Please email the chip number into Admin - it will kept off the page. This is because the Halo scanners immediately show your dog as stolen so she can be seized back immediately, if scanned. This is due to the scanners being linked into DogLost site. You are doing well with police and media, keep going. Let us know the crime number asap. The fact that she is spayed means she stands a much bigger chance of getting home if stolen. We must presume stolen if you feel this is the case. How did she go missing? This wil give us clues. You need to poster like mad all over the area - make her too hot to handle! Read my email. Let me know if you don't receive it. x

I have contacted both those vets and the dog warden the Braintree and witham times are calling me tomorrow too and the police as I think she been stolen we are by Benton hall

PLEASE PLEASE share she just had an operation and we need her home, my little boy with Down syndrome not understanding why she not here. She 14 years old and were desperate for her return.
