Chelsea, I cannot believe what I read that the animal shelter let the couple walk away with a dog that was not theirs and took no details, disgusting. I think your partner needs to go back down there and make a big complaint and make sure the local press know about this . Also finding a dog and not reporting it is known as theft by finding and you should notify the police and make sure that crime reference number goes on all posters and social media. X

is there any cctv at the dog shelter??

You need to plaster social media with this story with an appeal to find the couple....all local facebook pages, red alert, lost box, harvey's army, murphy's army, dog theft awareness, everywhere...and see if local radio/press will runa story. Do twitter too. Shame the kennels didn't take details or ring the dog warden themselves. Ring doglost and ask for advice... they may not see your post.

Latest update on blue: my partner went to a cat and dog shelter up wrekenton today and they have said too him that a cupple male and female tried to hand blue in on Friday but the shelters chip reader was broke. So they said if they could take him else were they never took any details but told them too ring the warden as they thought the looked like decent people? What do I do now? Someone must have him they have tried to hand him in iv spoke to warden and kennels again still no sign off him. Can the shelter just send a dog away? I'm stuck I canit belive it...

The one in the rspca appeal (tied to fence) is not Blue. Owner says Blue is darker brindle and slightly smaller build, and the chip is registered as lost. Perhaps get it registered stolen if you can get that crime reference number Chelsea?

Shared on FB. .If there's a chance Blue was stolen from the garden, have the Police been informed and a crime reference issued?...Hope he's found very soon xxLast edited: 2015-12-11 00:10:30 by Jaycey
