Great news, but strange it took owner so long to locate his dog whilst she was registered on here and presumably with the local dog warden. Hope he will now get her microchipped.

Have spoken to finder, she had put posters up & a local man came to collect her. She did ask him questions first & when he collected dog apparently it was obvious it was his dog as she went potty :)

Now in reunited, does that mean she is back with her owner????

twoDs try ringing the above number for info x

Has she been reunited can someone confirm or gone for rehoming? Highlander I have a group on Facebook for Border Terriers in UK rescues, look there and contact your nearest Border Terrier Welfare who have a lot of dogs looking for new homes.Good luck.

I've shared this one's details with Border Terrier Welfare and another BT site. I'm sure it won't take long to find her a lovely new home.
Bo
You'd have to contact the dog warden for that area and ask where the dog went to be rehomed - there are however other border terriers in rescue here; http://www.dogsblog.com/category/border-terrier/

How does one offer to home a dog which has been found and not claimed. This wee dog looks like my wee border terrier who sadly passed away last winter, of old age. I would be happy to offer a home for her.
twoDs
This one must surely be due for rehoming if not already? Is it possible to find which rescue/kennels she went to?

Rose, no it hasn't :(
Rose

Rosa's owner, Sarah, hasn't actually seen this dog, she's just going by whatever the finder told her over the phone. I just can't get over how alike they are and I know that Rosa's microchip had migrated (I think it was down a front leg?) so hopefully this little one will be double/triple scanned. I have two BTs and the set of their ears is quite different, but if you compare this dog with Rosa's photo they look identical.

Andrew, finder has checked & there is no spot on her nose. Sorry, the search continues.

alikat, I thought it was Rosa owner her who said it wasn't her? i am confused now.
Andrew Corser
Hi - Andrew here from Cornwall - there is certainly the possibility that this is Lizzie, but from the picture there isn't enough to check...she has a little lighter coloured spot on top of her nose, if that helps, and a white patch on her chest...
alikat
If you compare the photos of this little one and Rosa, it's hard to accept that it isn't her - the set of the ears is identical. I know finder is keeping some information secret to ensure the wrong person doesn't claim her, but is she absolutely positive it isn't Rosa?

Have left message for Andrew re his dog Lizzy that went missing in Cornwall. ( lost ref 89149) just in case

Had a message back, this isn't Lulu either :(
alikat
What a shame Sarah, but we never stop looking and hoping! I'm sure this little one will be claimed soon.

Oh Sarah so sorry, still keep looking for Rosa.Hope this one is home soon
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
Have spoken to finder. They are keeping some details to themselves so the 'wrong' person does not try to claim the dog.
Sarah Buckley
Just been told its not Rosa.... thank you for your support everyone. Its just not to be. Sarah

Have messaged Rosa's owner to alert her to this one. I must say the photo looks very much like her. Everything crossed!
Jen
Hi Gino. Thanks for the message about Lulu. I have contacted her owner via a text and hopefully she will be in contact with you tomorrow. Fingers crossed it could be her
twoDs
Rosa's chip has migrated so definitely worth having a full scan done - would be wonderful if it was her
