- Searched, called, whistled and listened for over an hour to no avail. So sorry........spoke to a couple of dog walkers who were aware and keeping alert and saw the posters. I went on the left hand little track from the crossover point you mentioned and concentrated on the stream and thick bracken areas. Will try and go regularly.....you must be frantic. X

- Thanks Katy, will aim to walk our dog around there tomorrow-she will enjoy a change. Am not too sure where the car park is that you mention but will look it up on a map.....I used to walk my parents's dogs in Yearsley woods years ago but came at them from easingwold. Have you tried leaving some clothing of yours where you last saw him? (Plus a note to explain to people why they are there) I hear portable BBQ and sausages can sometimes encourage dogs to show themselves.....or K9 dog trackers? Poor little thing-if still around he must be frantic, as I expect you are. Please god he wasn't stuck somewhere...... Have you put posters up in the car park?

- Thanks very much Mrs London. He was last seen about half way down the right hand fork you can take from Windy Gates car park. Where a smaller grass track crosses over the main path just before the dip. He loves his rabbit holes but have never really seen many around there though I'm sure there are plenty of badger sets!

- I'm in Helmsley so will try and head out there over the next couple of days.... Our Molly is the spitting image of Alfie so may draw him out of cover! Whereabouts exactly did you last see him? Yearsley/Gilling woods is a huge area! X
