for thse not on FB : CROSS POST FROM BRYAN : Bryan Hall JoJo has been positively identified in a farm location. The owners of the Land have asked that we now leave alone except Jackey & Ivon. The farmer has given permission for a trap to be sighted on site. For the time being we are asking everybody to stand down, and hopefully allow nature to take its course. Jackey and Ivon have asked me to thank everybody who has come to Tutts Clump and surrounding area, slogging through the muddy fields and paths around us Thank You All BryanLast edited: 2016-01-10 16:36:49 by Shereen - 2016-01-09 12:07 Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer

- Hi,one and all with Jo if a feeding pattern could be set up especially where he,s been seen going confidently. i,e through gateways or the route through the college, try and see re-united dog 92192 Lexi for tips on what to do, baring in mind all dogs, and their situations are always different.. two main things i find that does NOT help, 1 never call the dog by its name!! and 2 to confront the dog, I act as though i am throwing my chip papers away but in some tissue paper(easily seen)throw some quality food ,chicken sausage etc..then as i say BACK OFF,to remove any threat.another problem is using a trap cage that is too small try finding a secure garden, or has the college a set of enclosed tennis courts? ideal to start a feeding station, ask around..finally remember MORE FLAMING FIREWORKS!!! tonight. I am only 1hour away and have suitable sized traps if needed. All the very best for 2016 to all you good people in and around DOG LOST UK you are all doing a worthwhile job!! and remember one very important thing THE ANIMALS ARE GRATEFUL. Ray.

- I've just seen this on Facebook. Posted 4 hours ago.
PURTON PEOPLE: Someone just stopped outside our house and asked if we knew anyone with a black lurcher type looking dog. He saw it by the road just as you are coming out of The Fox heading towards Casa Paulo direction (near the Farm). He tried to get it but it ran off into a field. He also went to the farm but no one was in. Please can you share. Thank you. (Purton is near Swindon) - 2015-12-29 13:16 missy

- Pubs/restaurants in Beenham, Bradfield and Bucklebury all have posters up. Local parish councillors also putting posters up. Maybe local newsagents could be asked to put a poster into each newspaper delivered? May help. Hope all the hard work everyone is putting in is soon rewarded and Jo Jo is back with Jackie. x

- 2015-12-26 20:06 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- This is very encouraging as after Tiga tracked for 2 days, Yogi tracked on Christmas Eve in torrential rain and we pulled him off so close to this latest sighting. So wish we had continued despite 4 hours of heavy downpour.
- 2015-12-26 18:39 wagtails
- There were a lot of people around Tutts clump & Bradfield this morning, being a long weekend, including dog walkers, cyclists, horse riders, ramblers & the hunt, which is maybe why Jojo went into hiding again. 2 very local, doggy ladies, are aware of his exact movements and will call if he is seen again. Please remember we need positive sightings and people to call the owner rather than try and catch him themselves, the family have been looking today and plan to return early tomorrow.

- Jo was seen again at least 3 times this afternoon at The 4 lakes but he is very scared, sadly I don't think he will go up to a stranger now ! He looks okay. There are a lot of comments on face book rather than being shared on this site which may not be helping. I believe a trap is being set up by the river bailiff this evening.

Two lurchers have caused chaos in Reading bringing the M4 to a standstill this afternoon.
The dogs escaped from an overturned vehicle following a collision at around 1.20pm on Tuesday, December 7.
The vehicles involved were cleared by emergency services but the dogs escaped and are believed to be on the loose close the the M4 westbound between junctions 11 and 12.
The incident caused around a mile of tailbacks on the motorway after all lanes were closed in bo9th directions.
All lanes have been reopened and traffic is moving again although the dogs are still on the loose
A lurcher is a small breed of dog similar in shape to a greyhound.
If anyone has any information about the escaped dogs the police can be contacted on the non-emergency 101 number and quoting URN 633 15/12. - 2015-12-16 00:42 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
